Not sure if there is already a thread on this somewhere, but I would love to know the songs everyone is using for the walk up the aisle, the walk down the aisle at end of ceremony, and the wedding dance.
I'll start: our songs will be La Vie En Rose (Louis Armstrong, from Wall-e!) and In My Life (Beatles). Not sure how we are going to use them yet, but those are our songs. :) La Vie En Rose will probably be the wedding dance. We'll probably have In My Life somewhere in the ceremony but not sure exactly where yet.

I am totally lost what we are doing with our vow renewal at the moment, but the songs were a little easier for me to sort out...

while the boys (my husband and son) are going up and waiting for us, a pirates of the caribbean song...
for my daughter (flower girl), tinkerbell song (I can't think of the name at the moment but it's from the movie)
for me- 'my one and only love'- also louis armstrong
walking out- this is the only one I don't know- I'm thinking possibly so this is love... and also I'm thinking something a bit of a big strong disney happily ever after thing!
first dance- I'd love for us to choreograph a dance to 'bella's lullaby'

When we picked Morocco as our ceremony location, I started thinking about using music from the movie “The Wind and the Lion,” which was my mom’s favorite film. If you can get over Sean Connery playing a Berber, it’s a really fun action-adventure-romance film. One of my fave movie composers, Jerry Goldsmith, wrote the score, which I thought had a nice Moroccan feel. Then I watched the movie again and realized it actually takes place in Morocco - bonus!

Ceremony:

Entrance – “Main Title from The Wind & The Lion”
Right now I’m thinking about having no prelude – just kicking off with this dynamic movie-opening song as DF’s parents are seated.

Mom’s Song – “I Remember (Love Theme)”
As a way to remember my mother, who passed on about three years ago, we’re going to have them play this song after DF’s parents are seated and before anybody else walks down the aisle. The song makes me and DF cry, but it is basically my mom’s theme song, and I think she’d really love it.

Officiant, Best Man & Man of Honor – “007”
We had to work in something from a James Bond film ‘cuz we’re huge fans, so this alternative Bond theme from the movie "From Russia with Love" should make our three guys feel pretty cool as they walk down the aisle!

Groom’s Entrance – “Life’s Incredible Again”
A love for “The Incredibles” was the first thing DF and I had in common. This song played when Mr. Incredible was getting back in shape and everything started to go well for him again – I think it’s a great entrance for DF!

Bride’s Entrance – “Off to Work”
This is my favorite song from the soundtrack to “The Incredibles,” and I played it over and over when DF and I were first dating. It’s the perfect fusion of John Barry’s, Henry Mancini’s and Jerry Goldsmith’s styles. I only wish I were wearing a slinkier dress so I could kinda glide down the aisle to this song!

Exit – “Two Hornpipes (Tortuga)”
OK, we *had* to have something from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies, so why not the song from the barroom brawl(s) on Tortuga as we exit?

Reception:

First Dance – “Wave”
I’m going to weave three different versions of this Antonio Carlos Jobim song into the reception. For our first dance it’s Sarah Vaughn singing with a big orchestra. This song played over the end of my favorite movie, “Next Stop Wonderland.” The cool thing about this version is that it starts out slow but has a jazzy break in the middle so we can bust out our swing dance moves!

Mother-Son – “Movin’ Right Along”
DF and I are huge “Muppet Show” fans, and he had to work a Muppet song into the wedding somehow. This should be a pretty hilarious mother-son dance – the song is mid-tempo and nearly impossible to partner dance to, plus neither of them know how to dance (Well, OK, DF can swing dance, but you can’t swing to this one!). I can’t wait…

Father-Daughter Dance - "High Roller"
I’m letting my dad pick the song we dance to. I figure it’s only fair, since I’m picking all the rest of the music. We’ll see what he comes up with… ETA: We picked one of his all-time fave songs, by David Sanborn. No lyrics, but that's OK with me - it was hard to find non-romantic lyrics for a father-daughter dance anyway!

we're huge Disney fans (well I am, more then DFi, but he'll go along with it)

He'll come out to the song that's played in the 3rd PotC where Elizabeth and Will get married (during the battle)

I'll come out to an intermenatal version of either Kiss the Girl (The Little Mermaid) or Something More (Beauty and the Beast)

Or first dance might be A Whole new World (Aladin) or the Beauty and the Beast song (this is my choice)

We'll play some other music for dancing, but we haven't worked that out yet.

We used Disney Songs

Prelude: Disney Songs
Mothers: You'll Be in My Heart
Groom: Someday my Prince Will Come
Bridesmaids: Cinderella at the Palace (sometimes called Reception at the Palace)
Announcing the Bride: Westminster Chimes/Chiming of the Hour
Bride: Traditional Bridal Chorus Processional
Major Domo: When you Wish upon a Star
Unity Candle: Can You Feel the Love
Recessional: Cinderella Finale (it's the part at the very end of the Cinderella movie...)
For the rest of the guests: Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Da

We used all Disney songs too:

Seating of my mother (DH's mother could not attend): Bella Note
Bridesmaids processional: A Whole New World
Bride: When You Wish Upon a Star
Recessional: Zip a Dee Doo Dah

The music we used for our wedding...

Ceremony (played on the Wedding Pavilion's organ):

Prelude – Various classical pieces mixed with Disney classics
Mothers – “Baby Mine” from the movie Dumbo
Groom & Groomsmen – “Main Theme" from the movie Apollo 13
Bridemaids – “O Mio Babbino Caro" by Puccini
Announcing the Bride: Westminster Chimes/Chiming of the Hour (6 o'clock)
Bride – "Main Title/The Story Girl" the theme from Road to Avonlea
Memorial Candle - "You'll Never Walk Alone" from the musical Carousel
Major Domo - Fanfare/When You Wish Upon a Star
Unity Candle - "Lara's Theme" from the movie Dr. Zhivago
Recessional – “Hornpipes” from Handel's The Water Music leading into "On this Magic Night" from the Main Street Electrical Parade

Reception:

First Dance – “All For Love” by Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, and Sting (from the movie The Three Musketeers)
Father/Daughter Dance – “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw (from the movie My Friend Flicka)
Mother/Son Dance - “Maa” by Shankar Mahadevan and other various artists (from the Bollywood film Taare Zameen Par)
Last Dance - "In My Life" by The Beatles

We're having a pianist and violin player for the ceremony, so I bought the sheet music for most of this and either transposed it into the proper key, or the website had an autotransposer.

Prelude/ seating? All those Disney songs... "So This is Love", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?", "Beauty and the Beast" etc

Mothers Entrance? "Wedding Song (There is Love)"

Officiant and men's entrance? "Answer" by Sarah McLachlan

Brides Entrance? "At my Most Beautiful" by R.E.M.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVhm0...eature=related

Unity/ Rose Presentation? "Beautiful" by Wayne Brady and Jim Brickman
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GS9GH8XX3Ew

Recessional/ Exit? "Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts arrangement by the O'Neill Brothers

I put the links up for YouTube versions of what will be played. R.E.M. is my favorite band - probably more of an obsession - lol! So I had to have "At My Most Beautiful" to walk down the aisle. The song itself has a strong piano base and then we'll use the violin for the melody. I've tried it out using MIDI and it sounds great!

Oh yeah and our first dance is "I'll Be Loving You Forever" by the New Kids on the Block and then at 3 minutes in, we Rick Roll everyone! Should be fun!

(Just copied and pasted from a post a few weeks back! - btw more info about Rick Rolling is here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rick_roll)
