Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if you guys could help us out. were are looking into having an escape wedding, and need to find a place to have a reception lunch/dinner. We'll probably have around 35 ppl total. Any suggestion would be great, we'd really apperciate it.

Is there places that have private dining rooms, or are we just grouped to the side of the resturant?
Also if you know the price range for the menus, that would be great.

Thanks so much.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! California grill has 2 private rooms, the Napa room and the Sonoma room. The Napa room has a great view of MK and holds 50 guest with a $3,000 minimun. The Sonoma room holds 40 guest and has a view of the lake and trees and has a $2,000 minimum. The price starts at around $80 per person for dinner. I know lunch receptions are held there for wishes weddings but I'm not sure if escape weddings can book them. Jiko also has a private room, but I can't remember how many it holds I think 30 and has a $4,000 min. Narcoossees can group up to 30 people in a section of the restaurant and is very nice, the average price is about 60 per person and there is no minimn. You can also to a buy out of Citricos for $5,000 for lunch. There is also Portobello's at Downtown Disney, I'm not sure how many guest the private room can hold or what the minimun is. Most other places will set aside a part of the restaurant for you as best they can. I know of one bride who had her reception at Chef Mickey's and had a great time. Also remember escape weddings are limited to 20 people total. If you have not done so yet you should pay a visit to the wedding and honeymoon board. Hope all this helps! :goodvibes

One of my coworkers got married in Disney 2 years ago and she got a lot of info and made many friends on the disneymooners board. I believe the site is disneymooners.com it is specifically for people that were married or getting married in Disney. Hope this helps!!

I've been lurking around at all the boards. I am trying to get all the info I can so I can let my fiance know about all the possible choices. I will be looking into all those resturants. The one at Chef Mickeys sounds like fun. But so does the California grill. Thanks again ^_^
