hey guys,
i live in pensacola, fl ((about 7-8 hours away from orlando)), so obviously not ALL of our friends will be able to make the trip. I've always dreamed of a DFTW however, my main concern is walking down the aisle in a ,for the most part, bare chapel. if i had 20-30 guests will the wedding pavillion chapel look empty and deserted?

I don't think so, I have seen videos with an intimate wedding, so there were only 5-6 guests seated, and it was still beautiful. I think with 20-30 it will be lovely!! Either way, you will be expressing your love in your dream setting, infront of the people that mean the most! :)

I don't think it'll look empty. The wedding pavilion is SO well kept, neat and clean and gorgeous. I didn't have high expectations for it but when df and I went to see it in fall of 2007 I was REALLY impressed! It's gorgeous the way it is. If I were going to put flowers anywhere in there though I'd do it on the alter.

There were only 30 to 40 people at my DD's wedding there...it was still beautiful....the pavillion itself is a romantic and wonderful place and it didn't matter about the # of people. We did use some netting to line the aisle that was tied in love knots at each pew...kind of kept your eye moving toward the front and focused at the alter...very pretty:lovestruc

Good Luck with your planning!

I only have 12 guests coming to Florida and most of them are in the wedding party. We are having the WP and I'm really excited about it, I think it will be quite intimate.

It will depend on the decorations. That will be the duty of the wedding planner.

We had 80 for our wedding and yes, the Wedding Pavilion will look a little bare with 30 people. Even if I had 30 guests, however, I still would have done the ceremony there because it is so beautiful and the ceremony rocks. No way should you change locations based on number of guests.

Wow, this is an old post. We had 30 people and it didn't look bare. It is light and open and airy. It does not look or feel odd with that few of guests.
