Wedding on the Dream — Recommendations for Standout Server & Adult Entertainment Host? Some (Vegans/Allergies)

Hi everyone! We’re sailing on the Disney Dream this January for our wedding cruise, and we’ll have a large group of about 30 people joining us. This is our first time sailing with a group this size, so we really want to set ourselves up for a smooth experience.

We’re Platinum Castaway Club members, and over the years we’ve built some incredibly close relationships with servers on the other ships — a few who genuinely feel like family. That connection is one of the biggest reasons we love Disney Cruise Line. But on the Dream, we haven’t yet found that same level of standout magic.

For this cruise, our group includes:

• Several guests with allergies
• Two vegan guests
• Adults who are simple eaters
• Three young children (ages 5, 3, and 1)

We’re hoping for a serving team who is:

• Efficient and keeps dinner pacing smooth (we’re aiming not to be in the dining room for two hours)
• Personable and warm, while still managing a large group well
• Excellent with allergy and vegan communication
• Strong with their assistant server — drinks refilled, plates cleared, kids’ meals timed well
• The type who learns preferences quickly and makes the whole experience feel effortless

And, as some of you will appreciate… our goal is making it to the 7:30 adult music trivia with enough time to actually get a seat. Priorities, right?

If you’ve had an amazing serving team on the Dream — especially someone great with large groups, allergies, vegans, and simple eaters — we’d love your recommendations.


We know the Dream has wonderful servers, and we’re hoping this wedding sailing introduces us to another one of those unforgettable teams we’ve been lucky to meet on the other ships.

Congratulations on your wedding! You must be so excited. My DS got married at CC, on a Dream cruise back in 2024. It was amazing!

We had a party of about 40 and did not all have the same servers, even though we were right near each other. Ironically we loved our servers while the bride and groom were not as happy with theirs. They weren't bad just not that same bonding experience, and they weren't on pace with ours. We are sailing the Dream again next month and have requested ours, I Putu (Putu Gede Surata) and Dillard (Dillard Jonas Jose Bowers). They do not always have the same "team" on every cruise but we will be happy with either one or both of them if we get them.

I don't know who is doing adult entertainment on the Dream but we have had Yoyo and Lany on the Fantasy (I believe they have moved to the Destiny) and they both are awesome! As I told them, they are the Dream Team of Club Hosts.

I mentioned the assistant server because with our favorite server, even when assistants change, she always keeps things running smoothly and makes sure they’re on top of everything.

I should also add, I have no idea what ship they are on now but if you get Charlotte or Melody as Wedding Coordinators, you are in for a treat! They are absolute sweethearts and did a wonderful job. Things got a little scary the morning of the wedding as we started approaching CC, and then turned around to leave. Charlotte kept the bride calm and cool, and although things were delayed an hour or so, we did make it and had a beautiful wedding.
