My DF and I are thinking about Disney for our wedding. A little background on us: I was born in the states and grew up in an Irish Catholic home and he is a Buddhist from Taiwan. His parents don't speak any English. I was wondering if Disney offers an officiant who is knowledgeable about both traditions and is it possible to have the wedding said in both languages (English and Chinese). We are planning to have our honeymoon there. Thanks for all the input!

Wow...that's an interesting question!

Your best bet may be to contact some of the officiants themselves and ask. I know that most will customize a ceremony for you. If you know of some of the traditional elements of the Buddhist ceremony I'm sure they will help you incorporate them.

Some of the more popular officiants are (and if I could find a website for them, I've included a link):

Rev. Kevin Knox http://www.abeautifulceremony.net/

Rev. Jack Day http://www.revjackday.com/

Rev. Tim Herring http://www.orlandoweddinglocations.com/

Ron Rosenzweig http://www.wedinorlando.com/

You might also just do a google search of "Orlando Wedding Officiants" and see if there are some others.

Have you talked to Disney at all yet? They may be able to recommend someone and offer suggestions!

Good luck and let us know!
