wedding & holiday booked

Hi

well we have booked the holiday 3rd may till 17th may at old key west but are on waiting list for Boardwalk. we are getting married on the 12th at leu gardens a couple of questions as we are doing everything on a budget

has anyone brought a wedding dress over in orlando ( doesnt have to be a proper one maybe even a cocktail dress) . I have tried the wedding forum but it seems to be aimed at Disney weddings so if anyone in the Uk can help

wedding ring- plain wedding band- any pointers for jewellery shops

possible hire for limosine - any recomendations

finally there will be only four of us so for the wedding evening I was thinking of narcossees - getting in touch for ADR at 90 days and telling them it was our wedding meal and requesting a table to view the fireworks and anything else that could make it special
oh by the way we are getting married at 1.30 so i thought another idea would be to hire a boat at OKW and have a small celebration following the ceremony

i would appreciate your thoughts

There are non disney brides on the wedding forum and a few Florida natives, I think you would get the best responses on there

Have you thought about a wishes cruise? You could have dining on there too?

congrats, i got married in disney and got my dress here but there is a davids bridal near mall at millenia, not sure if you can buy off the rack but you could call them maybe,

We looked at wedding rings when we went over last feb to plan our wedding but found we could get better rings/deals here so settled for that.

Disney arranged our limo so I'm afraid i cant help

We attended a wedding a few years ago in Leu Gardens - it's a really pretty setting. There are lots of opportunities there to get great bridal photos.

update on the meal, have just seen May opening hrs and wishes is not on on the 12th so will have to rethink narcossees. any ideas for special wedding evening meal.

I've just seen a post saying the times for Wishes are not finalised - but they are on Soemtime tried to book a wishes cruise and the cm said to phone back later as their systems were being updated

Hiya,

We've booked a stretch Hummer with these people: http://www.orlandolimorental.com/orlando_limo_service.htm
I'm not sure what the costs of different limos are but we got a really good price on the Hummer.

They book single/return trips or you can charter for a minimum of 3 hours.

If you are not too bothered about a traditional wedding dress how about looking at some of the nice shops in the malls? There are some great designer (and non) at them that do really nice dresses

thanks, is dillards actually a wedding shop? I was thinking of going to the malls as I don't want anything over the top (due to age & weight
even with the exchange rate I still think the cost would be cheaper over there and no need to fill up my luggage space

i just googled dillards and they look great so will be paying a visit there also they have ugg boots and my dd wants a pair whilst I'm over there so she will be happpy

Also try journeys kids in the florida mall they do uggs too There use to be a wedding dress shop in the mall but have no clue if it is still there...
