Wedding Crasher: Lurkyloo’s 4 Parties in 3 Nights with 2 Cameras and 1 Fabulous Hat

AWESOME! I love the pics. Luckily I had a lovely lunch that included home-made brownies (thanks MoMa!) so your plan to tempt me with oodles of cupcake shots failed! HA!

...but, if I had not had the brownies, I would have been weeping on the floor, suffering from acute sugar withdrawals.

I want the B/W pic of you flirting with the Michael Landon bust. The look on your face is priceless! Patrick better watch out!

The "Waxed Granny Smith" picture cracked me up!:lmao: That was too funny!! As well as the idea of you dancing at AI!! Love this update (actually, love all of them!), it was great!!:thumbsup2

my favorite being the “Paula Abdul,” whose attempts at hipster lingo included declaring that the audience was getting “banged off” by the performance.

Way to keep it PG there, "Paula".

'K, your review just solidified the fact that I won't be visiting AI in August; I probably won't even visit DHS.

Ahh, another great update! It's so amazing how your stretch your days out for so long - I guess all the pics help though.

Oh - my turn for a pic. While it's not quite as magnificent as your hat, I quite enjoy mine, and it's slightly smaller to tote. All regular prefaces apply to hair, skin, angle of head tilt and anything you may see in the background. Oh yeah, and no Jensey-quality photos either.

I guess I can be happy that at least I have freckles to break up the albino-ness!

Very good update! It was cool you got to meet up with Sarah. She was gorgeous! Plus she is an Attic bride so that makes her cool anyway! :lmao:

That butterfinger cupcake looked really good and now I want a butterfinger. Thanks Carrie. :headache::rotfl:

I am a lover of all things cupcake but that has to be the GROSSEST most pathetic looking cupcake I have ever seen. It looks like it has parmesan cheese shavings on it :scared:.

Great update as usual!:goodvibes

I thought the white chocolate cup cake looked delicious. Ever since we had the white chocolate castle topper on our cake in 2003 white chocolate has been my obsession. Those huge shavings of white chocolate look super yummy! :cake:

Maybe my distaste for white chocolate is what did it for me with that cupcake :rotfl: (or maybe because it was so alone on the tray with it's lone hiding green mickey decoration and reject chocolate sprinkles from what used to be a neighboring cupcake).

But, to me, all of those other cupcakes look FABULOUS!!:lovestruc

Great update!! I was so stressed about fitting an AIE show into our next trip, but you've answered a lot of questions for me and I think I'll skip it this time. So much more I'd rather see!!

So with Jensey in tow, I barged into the dining room at the Brown Derby and started poking around for Sarah and Jeff. When we found them, I planted myself in the narrow aisle and grilled them for wedding details as servers squeezed by me and their waiter reached around my huge hat to give them the bill. I wish we’d had more time to talk because I would love to hear the full details of the day!

The one that stuck in my mind was that they didn’t like the peanut butter cup layer of their cake, which I felt personally responsible for since I had been singing the praises of that dang flavor ever since my wedding. It wasn’t until we had it again on our anniversary that I realized it wasn’t really that great, and now I feel as though I have lead scores of Disney brides astray! (However, I was relieved to see Sarah’s post today that the cake gets better after a few days in the fridge – whew!)

Before we parted, Jensey took some pictures of us (wearing my wedding colors!).

Here’s what we’d look like if I were not Gigantor

Now I think these pictures are cute, but just in case Sarah is not crazy about them, let us turn our gazes once again to this:

AHHHHH!!!! I haven't seen those two pics from our wedding. :lovestruc

I did the satan voice to my mom, saying "COME HERE NOW" when I saw them!!! LOL I love the Roots and wish I would win the lotto to hire them all the time. If it wasn't for them and Patricia Lejeune, I would look... :scared1:

And you are not a gigantor! I'm 5'2 1/2. Yes, when you are that short that half is important! :rotfl: And you look FAB in that hat! I never would have guessed you scored that in Epcot.

Your's and Jensey's cuteness in the wheelchair pics was completely cracking me up. As soon as my bestfriend gets her pics edited, I have that same exact pose of me in a chair at our reception in the Attic.

And don't feel bad about the PB cake. I just find Disney cake to be a little dry, as did most of our guest. It totally got better as it sat. We all woofed down the top layer (also PB) when we got home. The flavors just need to blend or something. I also found the PB cake slices at the Boardwalk bakery to be dry but I loved the PB and the fudge layer that was on top.

It was soooo great to meet you and thank you so much for all your help with wedding info!!!

OMG - me too! :hyper: I hate cheesecake, but that stuff, well, it barely qualifies as cheesecake - and totally qualifies as a-friggin-mazing!

OMG! Do you hate cheesecake too!?!?! Thank God! I have never ever met anyone else who hates cheesecake!!!! Now I know I'm not alone!

Oh I hope I didn't hurt your feelings! :flower3: I just worry about ladies who tan....

Lord, no, honey! My feelings never thought a minute about being hurt! I know it's a ridiculous habit. I tell people all the time that I'm like a smoker who knows that their habit is very likely going kill them, or at least make them very sick, yet I do it anyway. I'm nuts. Now I have two little girls to think about, and to decide what kind of example I want to set for, so my mind is slowly changing. Slowly. I will still be baking at the beach in a couple of months. I'm aiming for Napa leather, rather than beef jerky now, though. :lmao:

You would think, right? But I really have not noticed it anywhere at WDW. Disneyland actually has lots of red velvet cake options, but I think that's just cuz all of L.A.'s trendy cupcake shops and retro bakeries have made it the rage. Unfortunately, Disneyland's version is not very good... :sad2:

WHAT?!?!?! Now THAT is a sin!!!

I feel bad that my trippie is so long. You would never know that I make my living as an editor! :rotfl:

OK...That IS pretty funny..,:rotfl:.....My hunch is you have to surpress your creative side to edit to the facts. So go crazy girl.....let her rip!

p.s. just read (an viewed) your last installment. Jensey's pictures are simply amazing. They keep getter better and better.

Thanks for the review of American Idol. I haven't read too much about it, so it was interesting to hear your opinion of it being fixed. Which it likely is. I still think I might stop by and watch it next month. What the hey.

OMG! Do you hate cheesecake too!?!?! Thank God! I have never ever met anyone else who hates cheesecake!!!! Now I know I'm not alone!

Add me to those ranks. I hate it when DH orders cheesecake for dessert, cuz he knows I'm not going to eat any. The only exception is one that I tasted from (I think) Carnegie Deli in NYC.

Gee, that Chocolate Butterfinger Cupcake looks like it might be even better than the Chocolate Peanut Butter one!

Oh, my heavenly day!!! That looks scrump-diddly-icious!!!! I CANNOT believe I have missed this. It is DEFINITELY going on my "To-Eat" list!!!

So is this.....

Sorry for the multiple posts from me. I thought I multi-quoted the first time, but evidently not! Oops!

Well now i DEFINATELY need to head over to Starring Rolls bakery this trip! :thumbsup2
