Wedding consultant question/problem

I guess I'm the odd one out - I completely adore my WC Pam - she and her assistant Tina are just awesome! :goodvibes I had a problem with my Disney website the other day at 10am - by 3pm it was fixed! I don't know if you can change WC's, but I would recommend her highly!

I'm sure I'll love my WP just as much!!

I have Pam too and she has been wonderful... very responsive and she seems genuinely excited about helping us

I have Pam as my Wishes wedding consultant and she is wonderful. I emailed me on Saturday night and had a response for all my questions by 10am on Monday morning.

I had Brianna as my Escape consultant and she was good. It took a couple of days for her to respond, but I was okay with that as well. It was never more then 2-3 days.

I have Pam too! She has been Great! She responds very quickly and is always so pleasant! I am looking forward to meeting with her in person.:goodvibes

I am glad to hear that some of you have had good luck with your people. My guy just keeps disappointing me.

so we recieved our contract, that minf you we had to follow up to make sure it was sent-which it wasnt, I had to have them change from recieve by mail to email- and a little thing was slipped in.

in the contract it stated that we are aware that the GF convention center and lobby roof is is under construction, interior and exterior.

Of course we were never told of this. This is the second time our consultant has either not told us of something , or given us the wrong information. I realize that we are at the end of working with this guy, but if the construstion is bad enough we may have to start over from the start. I am so disappointed in the service that I really am considering canceling the whole thing.

If anyone has any type of advice, please, please help me out here.

This was also in my contract and we were not told either. I believe that they don't have the exact dates set in stone yet so they are letting EVERYONE know regardless of their dates, times or whatever. We signed our contract a year ago and it was there. I don't think that your planner or sales assistant is keeping anything from you on purpose. The bright side (for you) is that once you sign the contract and do the room block, you get your planner and don't really deal with your sales assistant.

(Personally, I was hoping that they would have torn up that horrible carpet from the staircase before my wedding.... they haven't.)

i remember hearing about this construction over a year ago. i doubt they are trying to intentionally hide something from you, that would be pointless.

i had joe as my sales manager and marion as my planner. i had a great experience with both.

that was on my contract as well, but I am not even in the GF... I think it is an ongoing construction but it should not effect your wedding.

Ask your planner, it was never mentioned to me eithier so I do not think they are "hiding" anything from you. Disney is not in the business of tricking people having their wedding at WDW...
