How far from disney world is the place for wedding certificates located? About how long will it take to get one?

Do you mean the courthouse to get your marriage license?

We did not go to the court house because we knew that we would not have a rental car so we did ours by mail. But from read others post, I would assume it's like twenty minutes or so one way, and you should call first before you go to verify their hours for that day.

It took us about 20 minutes to get to the Oceola county courthouse from our hotel. My in-laws rented a car and drove us there (you may want to get a towncar service). From there, the time that you will wait it probably depends on the day of the week and time of year. We got married on June 16th (Monday) and went the Thursday before the wedding to get the certificate. We had to wait about 2 hours to get through the line because the office was understaffed that day, so allow enought time.

Yup we went to the same courthouse, again 20 minute drive, and on a Tuesday morning in May we were in there for about 45 minutes tops.

I will have to go on a Monday. I never dreamed it would be that busy! My mom should be there (or at least another family member) with her car, so we will probably just borrow hers. Thanks for your help
