Wedding at Cypress Grove

I know it isn't part of Disney but has anyone got married or getting married at Cypress Grove, Orlando?

We're thinking about getting married there in October 2010. I'm just wondering who would be best to book it through and what people thought of the place.

Also, how soon can you get your marriage licence and then get married? We wanted to get the licence the morning after we get there, and then get married later that day. Do you think that would be possible?

You only want Brevard County if you're doing a mail-away license - it's a few hours' drive from WDW.

They are about equidistant from WDW, but some people prefer Osceola cuz you don't have to go into downtown Orlando.

I went to a Cypress Grove wedding in 2003, they booked theirs through Virgin I think and the TA took care of their license and everything I believe.

Were getting married in October this year at Celebration Golf Club. We originally looked at Cypress Grove ourselves but our wedding coordinator showed us pics of all different places and we decided on CGC.

We booked our villa and flights separately and not as a wedding package.

Celebration also hires out their function room depending on how many guests to save you moving from one place to another. We are having our reception at Timpano's at Dr Phillips just off Sandlake Road!

As far as we are aware, you can literally get your licence on the morning of the wedding. We are getting ours a couple of days prior to save rushing around! Alternatively, if u use a wedding coordinator, they will sort it out for you to save you any journey and time at all.
