Wedding Anniversary

It is our wedding anniversary today! 18 years.

We won't be able to go out today as DH is working (boo hoo) but we will try to go out one night this week, or even next weekend.

Hubbie got me a DVD of Steel Magnolias which is one of my all time favourite films, and I got him - Nothing!!!!! We said we wouldn't bother with presents anymore, and of course I stuck to that but he didn't so now I feel bad. I will get him something later, when I have thought about it.

Congrats to you both, have only just seen this thread as I have not been on line for a number of months, would also like to thank you and you wonderful family for joining us on the Wishes cruise back in May. Perhaps we may meet again in the future.

It was a pleasure to join you and your wife on the Wishes cruise, memories of that holiday are keeping me going. It may be a few years before we get chance to go back because the kids have got some important years school-wise coming up, SATs and GCSEs and so on, so I don't think they'll appreciate us taking them out of school and I certainly don't want to pay the prices in holiday time. We'll have to see.

Typical man! I am always amazed how much DH manages to get me for Christmas and then he admits that he went over budget (or ignored it rather!)
