oh i rememerthe wedding plans well and yes probably the most stressful time of my entire life !!

les = have you searched internet for speechs ! I did the speech at our wedding as my groom is very shy and my entire speech was robbed off or an idea off some specimen speech i found on the internet. I found a database of past speeches that people had posted and it was very good to get you thinking and in the right frame of mind.

Good luck ! Not that you need it on the day everything gets forgetton and its just about saying I do

I agree, time to start raiding the internet! :rotfl2:

Hope the bridesmaids dresses get to you soon. :wizard: :wizard:

My Dad was really worried about giving a speech as an operation had left his voice box croaky so I told him not too. It was more important that he enjoyed himself. Our best man gave one for him and then did his own :rotfl2:

Today update tuesday 17th Aug.

Bridesmaid dresses have arrived , children are ok, adult need to be altered, head piece missing, Bev is doing her nut.

My mum has had bad wind problem and pulled a muscel in her back, hope she be ok for Bev hen night on friday.

You know, thinking back to my wedding, my groom's speech was by far the best. He was never into addressing people 'formally'. He was as nervous as ever and forgot everything he wrote. In his opening he was doing his usual thank you for being here and all that and thanked his parents by saying "You're the best parents I've ever had ...... er, oh .... obviously ..... I've never had other parents". I could see on his face for a split second that he was cringing, but it was so natural he brought the house down and just went impromptu for the rest. It was one of the more memorable moments of the wedding. If you're not bashing anyone, you really can't mess it up. These are your guests. They know you and accept you for who you are. Everyone does the same old thing, so even if you forget what you think you should have said, at least it's YOUR speech and it's original. :goodvibes

hi its been a bissy week,

Been to see the vicar last night, talked about the service the does and don't ect, not bad hope i dont muck up the word.

We have got all the dresses, ect now. Bev's is now happy.

But my mum is not, she has a tramped nerve in her back in pain all the time and can't sleep in her normal bed, so be in the spare bed tonight as its a bit harder, support her back :sad1:

not long now 8 days and counting.

Friday Bevs hen night. :)

sunday 22nd aug 2010

it getting closer and closer.

Bev had a great hen night, quiet with a group of close friends.

I had my stag night on saturday, went out for a curry and a few drinks not to many as had church this morning.

We had bands read for the last time today, vicar was his usual self joking all the time, it looks like it could be nice relaxed service.

mum is getting better, she missed bev's hen night as she could not face the 3/4 hrs drive to hartlepool :(

Hopefully she be ok for the wedding rehearsal on wednesday night.

oh hum what a day collected the morning suits this morning, and the wedding cakes last night.
not long now till friday.

we went to the wedding rehersal tonight not my best hour as i just fell apart, i was very very nervous and my brain went blank.

i was not this nervous at my driving test, and route canal is a lot easier.

i hope i am not like that on friday.
