I have eventually finished my first foray into the depths of this trip report writing lark.

Nothing related to Disney I'm afraid, but an account of our Mediterranean Cruise that we took in August 2008 - complete with videos taken by my able husband

If you fancy a look please click here Stringer Home Page and then the Aug 2008 Med Cruise button.

I loved your Med trip report - the pictures look amazing and seems like you packed loads in (even though it sounded a bit exhausting!). We're off to Alaska with Celebrity in June so it was good to hear that you had a good trip with them - we're also looking forward to comparing them to DCL.

Glad to hear your arms are a lot better now - your dip sounded very scary :scared:

Tammy, I loved your Med cruise. Hope to do one some day.

Your itinerary is exactly what I'd want. I've been wanting to see Barcelona since reading Mike and Amanda's reports.

You did a remarkable job planning without taking tours and probably saw more than others.

I'm so sorry about your arms. I am glad that you did get a diagnosis and are on the mend.

What a surprise, Tammy. I was just checking one last time before turning off the computer for the night to see if Debbie had the next installment of her report posted and I find your entire cruise report w/videos. I know better than to get started right now. I have a dozen more cookies to ice for the Inaugural Tea I'm hosting in the library for our fifth graders tomorrow and I know that if I get started reading your report I'll want to read it all and it will be 3 in the morning before I get to bed. So, thanks for the link. Can't wait to read it--later! Hugs.

Have enjoyed looking at your trip report & the pictures are amazing :thumbsup2 Thank you for sharing ::yes::

Susan hope you are having an amazing time today - it certainly sounds like there are lots of celebrations in America today. Enjoy your Inaugural tea and I hope you enjoy the report when you get a chance to read it

Wow Tam !! What a fab report. I really enjoyed it. Your photos are fab (and I loved Monkey's photos at the end too). It sounds like you had a wonderful time (except for the bellyflop incident - ooh, painful )

Thanks for sharing it Tammy, and should I have a spare afternoon, I may wander over to your other reports ::yes::

I have just gotten to Rome Tam, wow, it all looks wonderful, I am so enjoying your writing and the wonderful video, can't wait to look at more after dinner

I've reached day 3 and I have a couple of comments to make before moving on.

The food looks wonderful. I know you told us (and mentioned in the report) that it was a notch above DCL and NCL, but the pictures get that point across so much better than mere words. So important to take photos of food, I always say...

Kev looks well handsome in his DJ! Who'd have thought? :teeth:

I read your whole report earlier Tam, as Im off work nursing my poor foot, and it was wonderful. Ouch!!! On the swim issue, I bet you were in agony:grouphug: Wonderful report and thank you for letting us share it:goodvibes

I thoroughly enjoyed your report Tammy. As a long time lurker (well I have posted a bit on and off in the 7 years I have been on the Dis!) I have to say that the Stringer family trip reports have been one of the most enjoyable aspects of the boards! Due to a myriad of circumstances we have managed just one trip to Florida, back in 2004 and are on our way there this summer with our girls who will be 4 and 19 months when we go. Through the intervening years I have had to get my disney fix reading trip reports including the Stringer back catalogue.

I love cruising so was interested to read your report, we have dome a western med itinerary but something along the lines of your trip is on my wish list for 2010 or 2011.

Sorry to hear about your injuries, but at least your have a diagnosis and the expectation that all will be ok in the end. From the description it could have all been so much worse.

Thanks again for writing and sharing your report,
Mel

PS I have to say your girls have grown up literally in front of my eyes as I revisited some of your older reports, glad to see they are still enjoying holidaying with you and are not doing the typical teenager "can't be bothered" thing!!!!

Thanks for your kind comments. I hope you and your family have a wonderful visit to "The World" this summer.

That is the wonderful thing about Kev's website it is great to look back at the old reports and see how the girls have grown up each trip and also to see how Disney World has changed each visit.

As for the girls still holidaying with us - believe me they have threatened to accompany us forever as long as we keep paying!!! Roll on the day when they are working and can pay for us instead

I truly enjoyed reading your trip report and too thought how much worse your "swim" could have been. Many years ago I went out with someone who had broken his neck swimming at great yarmouth. It is so scarey how an innocent swim can turn into something so bad. It would seem very lucky Kevin was on hand.

All your photos and descriptions were amazing and really gave me a flavour of the cruise. I so love eating (and of course drinking) outside in the sun, so was particularly jealous of those photos of the wonderful meals taken outside.

Thank you so much for sharing with us

Wow Tammy, great report. I have only read the first two instalments but am looking forward to reading the rest.

I can't believe how grown up India & Georgia are now. They are beautiful young ladies :goodvibes

If India has any questions about Exeter (I noticed her uni plans) please don't hesitate to get in touch - I'd be happy to help :)

Thanks Karen but her course would actually be at their Falmouth Campus in Falmouth not in Exeter. She is still awaiting an answer as to whether she has an offer or not. She has been on tenterhooks since November as this is the course she is desperate to do. Cross fingers that she gets in.

Tammy

I'll keep them crossed Tammy :)

Loads of luck to India (though I'm sure she won't need it!)

Well, me actually Deb. Shame I always seem to be in a minority of one. :thumbsup2

Kev

Keep defending yourself. As a fellow man of your age, vigor and good looks I have your back.

As an aside, reading your trip reports, and watching the kids grow up, inspired me to do the same. Have a now 15YO Princess (or demon depending on the mood) and am in the middle of our New Years trip report. Fun looking at the old pictures and what we did when she was younger. From Dumbo to Mission Space. Good memories.
