I found a website through the budget board last year that maps out the Straight Talk and various budget pre-paid phones that Walmart and other discounters sell so you can figure out which carrier the pre-paid is actually using.
I want a v.v.cheap smart phone with real GPS tracking, prepaid, to take hiking, but it MUST be AT&T (I can always get signal a half-mile hike outside of the park , and usually I can get a signal on the tops of hills with AT&T. It's something like 20 miles before there's any other carrier's signal, however.)
I was going to go out to walmart and see what they have with the print out of which phones (and ID #s) map to which carriers, but my web searches are not going well. Could anyone help me out?
Nevermind! I kept plugging keywords and found a site:

I'm copying out information now.
