Web Site Down for Maintenance ?

Did we know the site was going to be down this morning ?

I didn't and of course it's my 7 month window today! I was on last night and there was no notice posted anywhere I saw. I was surprised this morning when trying to log in and book.

Got up at 5am PST to book and it's down. In your experience, should I sit here refreshing or go back to bed? Not sure how long these things take typically... Though it appears that only the booking tool is actually down.

As yesterday with the Sorin' tour release, I can only assume that at 9 AM EST the phones will be busy / long wait just to find out MS cannot make any reservations either.

Since this was not scheduled, most times this has happened in the past, it could be 5 minutes or all day. My answer was a lot of help (lol)

Actually it was! You reminded me that I might as well sit here and refresh for an hour because it won't be prettier at 9am on the phones!

Just called- recorded phone message says they have a system wide reservation outage and to call back at 10am EST.

This is posted on the disneyworld.com site no DVC reservations until 11/20? My booking window opens on 11/21

Called MS just now (9:35 eastern) and also got message that reservation system is down, both online and via phone, and that you should try back at 10 a.m. eastern. As to doing anything else, such as dining reservations or purchasing tickets, you can do those online in MDE but not via phone because after you get the systems down message, the line disconnects.

This happened to me on Election day. Same exact thing. Signed on at 8 website down. Called at 9 and got the system is down. Called on the dot at 10 and immediately got through. Was able to book HHI studio. Drove me crazy.
