Looking for some simple software that will help with web pages. Mainly I'd like to do photo pages, several to a page with links to larger pics. Any suggestions??

I like MS Front Page...:D

Microsoft's Front Page is probably the easiest. If it is just for posting pictures you might try some free sites on the web. Many people use Image Station, or you can try your ISP or even Netscape's page has it (even if you use IE).

Hope that helps.

if you just want simple photo pages you probably don't want to spend any money on software, the good thing about HTML is you don't need any special software, the code for doing something like you're suggesting is simple to learn, all you need is a text editor, I used to use Notepad. I learned HTML by going to other web sites and looking at the code on those pages, that was much simpler in 95 than it is now because of new code technology, but it's still pretty easy to learn.
the Microsoft Developers Network has all the code you would need to do something as simple as you 'd like to do.
and if you want, I can help you

You really do not need any software if have notepad or word pad on your computer. Any text editor will do.

But a free software start with is Netscape Composer.

If do by using a text editor. You will need a ftp program to upload your files. A really good that is simple and free is WS FTP LE this one I use when I don't have alot time. Another good is FTP Explorer which is free also.

This site right here explains HTML really simple : http://members.tripod.com/~chrismartin2/section1.htm

If need anymore help let me know. I will help you get start.

Those that i list is really good for begineers:wave2:

Thanks for the ideas. I've got a web hosting site but didn't like their packaged web builder pages. I looked at the source code and I'm able to duplicate it to get what I want. Looks like this might work for what I need.
