So being from the south, I know when it says 40% chance of thunderstorms, it means it probably will rain but not all day. Usually when we visit there are plenty of sunny days. Has it been sunny in Orlando at all recently? It seems like the forecast everyday for the past 2 weeks has been thunderstorms. (Just have to make sure I can get some sun at the HRH pool next week)

You will be able to get plenty of sun at the pool...don't sweat it. We have had moderate to heavy thunderstorms over the past few weeks which is typical for August. Recently the storms have been later in the evening (last night a storm came through my area around 9pm and I live 20 minutes from Universal) so basically any time after noon you can expect some storms.
