My boyfriend and I will be arriving WDW on Christmas day :santa: and staying until December 30th.

I've been checking the weather channel website for weather forecasts for the upcoming week in Orlando. The website says that for the time we'll be there the weather will be fluxuating from 79 degrees to 64 degrees.

Now to me, that sounds great because here we are in Jersey with 40 degree weather. However, I keep reading that Florida weather is different and 68 degrees in FL isn't the same as 68 degrees in NJ.

So what do I pack?? :confused3 I feel so helpless....I still have to wrap gifts, pack, go to a Christmas Eve party and exhange gifts, and be up and ready for our flight on Christmas day. :hourglass And I still have no clue what to pack or what to wear! I feel like I'm going crazy here!

Please someone....tell me what to do without packing my entire wardrobe!

I'd pack both shorts and long pants. It's easier to pack both then wish you had! I'd bring a light jacket too, especially for at night. Good luck packing and have a great trip! :)

We leave tonight, and will be there until the 2nd. And I seriously have never packed more clothes for a trip. Thank GOD were driving. I've serisouly filled rubbermaids. That being said, I've taken long sleeves, pants, and short/short sleeves. And PONCHOS as rain is predicted the entire time. :( Good luck packing, I seriously feel your pain! I leave in a few hours, and am NOT packed yet! :(

I would also pack some rain ponchos. They are calling for rain. If you are from up North 68 will feel very warm to you.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that we don't have any rain! Thanks for the advice!

We are packing for warm weather (going the same days) and plan on buying a WDW duffel bag and some neat WDW apparell while we are there (as the weather unfolds) as XMAS presents and then ME can lug it back home for us. Just dont forget a credit card with room on it. ;)

I'll probably pack a little of each, but enough just in case its warm for all days or if its cool every day. We have WDW sweatshirts from when we were in Disney this past February that we'll bring with us. I know this sounds dumb...but I don't want to wear the same sweatshirt all week if it gets cool out at night - mainly because I don't want to be wearing the same thing in all of our pictures. I know, silly. :teeth:

We need the rain and it is a certainty that it is coming to the area.

Well, hopefully it won't rain all day long and just little showers here and there. :sunny: I'm not so much worried about getting wet, I could care less about that. Its getting nice pictures that I'm most concerned about. I won't even want to take my new DSLR camera out of the bag if its raining. :sad2:

Not silly at all if you plan to be in a lot of pics that makes sense. They also have some neat jackets etc for a change of pace, plus you can shed those for pictures also. But I do get the whole "what do we bring" question at this point-who knows?

This time of the year is DEFINITELY the most difficult to pack for. We're lucky because we drive and can kept some of heavier outer wear in the car if we want to. But, really one day you can be wearing short sleeves and shorts and the next you can be bundled with gloves and a hat and heavy coat (especially at night).

The reason it feels different in FL when it's colder is because the winds pick up many times after a cold front sweeps through so it can actually feel colder than it is...however that being said if it's sunny it can also feel warmer because the sun is much stronger here than up north.

I do know we are supposed to get a cold front tomorrow but it may not last although the Orlando area gets much cooler at night than it does here. To us, it's COLD but to a northeasterner it may not feel much colder than being up north, just remember you spend a lot of time outside at WDW.;)

Just pack a few of everything, a few t-shirts, a few long sleeved shirts and a few sweatshirts. We make it a habit to LAYER ourselves whenver we go up this time of year...beats lugging around a winter jacket at the parks all day.:lmao:

We were there at Thanksgiving and it was BITTER COLD for Florida! We were surprised, cause the daytime highs were in the low 50's, and the lows in the low 30's! It was awful windy too. The week we were there, the only warm days were turkey day and the day after, and that was the day we had to leave! :( Have fun! Pack for any occasion, to be safe!

Took a light jacket in mid DEC, used it a lot.

I think one thing that helps make it cooler at Disney is all the water all around you. When the wind kicks up a little and comes across that water, it can be pretty chilly. Have fun!:thumbsup2
