So, we will be at the parks later this week. Thursday and Friday specifically. I'm not sure which weather source to go by...

Yahoo weather and weatherchannel.com both say...

Thursday - 69
Friday - 63

Accuweather says...

Thursday - 73
Friday - 72

Which is usually more accurate?

Personally I like to go by weather.gov. This is the official site of the National Weather Service. Like you I've done many comparisons, and this site seems to be the most accurate.

Hmm. That's quite the discrepancy, but I'll be honest, the way the weather has been here in SoCal lately, I don't think you'll get an accurate prediction until Wednesday!

For example, last night when I went to sleep, the weather said today was going to be 73 and we were expecting rain on Wednesday. This morning I checked and the high today is 66 and we're no longer expecting any rain. It's been like this for a few weeks now - just really hard to say. The be safe, I'd just split the difference and say it will be in the upper 60's for your trip, and in the upper 40's, low 50's at night/in the morning.

I'll tell you if your life depended on the weather this is the site you would use. Why do I say this, because I found out about it from people who used it for the safety of the public.

www.noaa.org

You can put in your city + state or zip code. You can also move the pointer on the map to get a pinpoint location. I know the site isn't glossy and cool. But it simply gets the job done.
