Looks like rain and thunderstorms for next week. Will be tent camping.

Are these just the usual afternoon rains that are short-lived, or some that are continuing through the day?

Any chance the weather clears off a bit more a couple of weeks from now?

Fairly typical of FL or even southern weather in the summer months. Some can be very brief, or they can linger a few hours - even all day. No way to really predict how much or how long.

I don't mind a bit of rain. Haven't been to Disney in June in quite awhile, so I couldn't remember the weather patterns. I'll bring an extra tarp to tie over the tent. There shouldn't be any problem. This tent has been with me to Alaska and Canada, and it's been thoroughly seam-sealed.

Let's hope for the best!

It's a double edged sword. On one hand we want the rain so the burn ban can be lifted, but on the other hand, we want to be able to enjoy our trip.

Oh well, I guess we have to take it as it comes. :)

I'm trying to figure out is this a front moving through? The forecast is showing rain or thunderstorms for 10 days. No sunny days at all! That's what concerned me.

I could rebook my trip, at least as of now, for the same airfare and same availability of campsite for two weeks from now. It would be nice to look at those little weather icons and see a little sun instead of the thunderstorm icon.

There are constantly some types of 'fronts' moving through, but mostly just typical weather patterns. The weather fore castors don't even get them right at least half the time!! It's just the way it is - just have to work with/around it! The next two weeks 'could' be better/worse, or the same. :tilt:

Weather men/women have a hard enough time predicting the weather (accurately) for Tomorrow. I can't even begin to imagine a 10 day forecast would be accurate.

Like NoM said, a Front of some sort is always moving through.... short of a hurricane type weather front, I wouldn't stress it too much.
