How is the weather at that time of year. I'm from Pa so around 70 will feel warm to me meaning shorts and t-shirt(maybe sweat shirt) and then through on pants at night, or is still warm enough to get away with same clothes as during day.

Unpredictable is the best way to describe the weather that week. We have been there the last three years arriving on Thanksgiving Day and staying through the week after. The temps have been in the mid-60's to the low 70's during the day. and cooler in the evenings. We usually wore shorts maybe starting the day with a light jacket or sweatshirt until it warmed up. In the evenings my DH and DD wore long pants. My DS's and I chose shorts with sweatshirts for the evenings. I know on some of our trips when the kids were little, it was down right cold!

I would suggest you watch the long range forecast at accuweather.com and pack accordingly.

P.S. We're from Michigan so 70 feels pretty good to us in December!

Don't forget to put a shovel in your trunk just in case it snows while your car is at the airport :-) and you are in WDW.

The weather is great. We are going the week after Thanksgiving again this year. The weather is usually in the mid to low 70's and it gets chilly in the evenings, probably in the mid to upper 50's. I am fine with jeans and a light jacket. I would say it will be perfect for you.

Pa here is as well and not to burst your bubble but pack your winter coat or wear it. Last year at same time DH and I nearly froze. We ended up buying heavy jackets that we really didn't need in order to stay warm. This year am packing for the same time and am taking more jeans and warmer clothes than summer. Maybe I can trick the weather man:tongue:

I agree with Soccermom ( and not just because we are both from Shelby Twp MI)

We often go there that week, and are this year. Some trips I have been in shorts the whole time, maybe sweat shirts at night.

Other times its down right cold. REALLY cold if it rains.

I guess we've been lucky. This is our 4th Thanksgiving Week trip. We've never had rain during the day - showered at night a couple of times. We've never wished that we had a coat, scarf and/or gloves...

I'm keeping the streak alive this year!!!! Who's with me?

We've been going for five or six years about this time of the year and last year we had rain. I can remember a MVMCP almost being rained out one night.

We have also seen temps as low as 30s with the wind blowing. At that time we were from Northern Idaho -- used to cold -- and we nearly froze. We had gloves, heavy coats, hats, mufflers and wanted our long underwear. Then the wind blew and brrrrrrr ... last year although a bit chilly, as I recall, it was comfortable during the day ... but at night got cold for us ... but our blood has thinned since we are now in AZ. Amazing how that works.

We pack for weather from 20s to low 80s ... then we are prepared. You would be surprised how hard it is to find a sweatshirt, gloves, hots, and mufflers if the weather takes a sudden drop down. The shelves are literally cleaned out. This way it doesn't matter.

My advice ... be prepared for the cold and hopefully you will get "average" temps ... which are nice.

When we go anytime after October, we fly in our jeans, heavy socks, turtlenecks, sweatshirts and windbreakers. We pack light mittens in our bags. That way, if and when we need the heavier clothing we have it but it doesn't take up a lot of room in our bags. We found that it is nice and warm in the sun during the day. But if you are standing in the shade for a long time it can get chilly. And the nights can be chilly. We try to bring along the heavier stuff and leave it in a locker, just in case.
