Weather right now?

We are going to WDW in a week and a half - I've never been there at this time of the year - how has the weather been? Is it really cold enough to wear a sweatshirt in the morning? Has it been tees and shorts or capris? Jeans?

I know the weather changes all the time, but it's been so warm here the past week on Long Island - just wanted to see if Orlando was hot, too?

I checked the 10 day outlook last night & it's going to pretty much be in the 80's during the day & the 60's at night.

We just got back yesterday from a week long stay at Pop Century. We wore shorts, tank tops, and t-shirts all week. We did go swimming early one morning about 8am and it was slightly chilly when we got out of the pool, but the pool area was in the shade at that time.

It rained on and off a few days while we were there. And the only time I was cold was one evening after a longish soaking rain. We were soaked and got on the very cold air conditioned bus. But if we would have been using ponchos and not been so wet we probally wouldn't have even been cold then.

We leave for Disney on Nov 1 st and I love this time of year there. We wear shorts and t's and a sweatshirt around our waits or in the backpack for mornings and evenings and if it rains. Th A/c in the buildings is cold if you are wet. But we had great fun in a down pour running from every ride in Tomoorw land. Fleece sweatshirts dry faster than the cotton. Oh wear shoes that dry too and bring ponchos! My kids wear Crocs and Keens. Crocs because of the airport and I have 4 kids so they are easy (but more than once I worried about one dropping off their feet on a ride) so they all have Keens this year. I also pack jeans and we have worn them but mostly shorts. Anyways Have a great trip! We are excited!!!!

I noticed the temperature outlook dropped quite a bit for this week coming - it was originally up in the 80s, now it's mostly in the 70s. Are we going to freeze at night with a sweatshirt? Should we plan on wearing jeans and a jacket at night?

Anybody been there the last few days?
