Weather in September? What to pack!

I know you can never tell but does anyone know what the weather is likely to be like? We are going the 3rd September for a week. I am trying to get the kids some new clothes to take but have no idea if I should be going for hats and shorts or jumpers and coats! Thank you!

We went first week of October a few years back and it was lovely, we even walked around in Tshirts during the day, just needing light jackets, hoodies in the early morning and evening.

Just looked through our photos and we have light raincoats on in a couple of them.

i think septembers are usually quite warm in general.

we went mid sept in 2009 and for 5 days and for 3 of those days we were in shorts and t-shirts and temperatures were touching the high 20's.....it was glorious!! and most of the rides were like 10 mins wait so it was perfect.
