Weather in November sailing out of NYC?

We are contemplating the sailings out of New York and looking at a mid to late November 2018 itinerary. Curious to know what the conditions are on Deck. Is it really too windy and chilly to enjoy the pools Etc? We normally get a veranda room, wondering if that would be a waste of money. I looked at Navigators from October sailings, and the temps for the at sea days appeared to be ~72 degrees, and that was in October. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this itinerary in November. This would be the very merrytime sailing down to Port Canaveral and back. Thank you

I have the same question, so I'll be watching for the responses! And, as our first cruise was in the Caribbean, I was also wondering if anyone experienced rough seas on these cruises in the past? TIA

We sailed Nov. 5th last year. Had beautiful weather when we boarded, cooled down a bit by sail away. Definitely not pool weather. No rough seas at the time. It was fine when we got further south.

it could be cold at that time of year or you could get lucky and get some nice weather. It doesn't get as cold as it use to. I live in south jersey about 100 miles away from NYC. Last year it never got really cold except for one weekend. Doesn't get as cold now as in the past. But of course being on a cruise ship up on deck will feel a lot cooler. Once you get down to the Carolinas you should be fine. I remember in 2015 thanksgiving and Christmas Day I was wearing shorts on them days in south jersey.
Also where you are from will mean a lot. If you live in Miami and the weather is 60 degrees you might be cold. If you live up north 60 degrees is nice weather.

We live NJ. Our November weather has been crazy the last couple of years it can be in the 80's for a few days or drop to the 40's. I would say weather should be in the mid 50's on average.

We are cruising early October this year. I am hoping for an Indian summer. Next year we are cruising late October.
Fingers crossed for good weather both times.

Thanks. We are from Phila so it's the same weather. I'm not concerned w/sailaway, i'm concerned with the sea days. We are used to being in swimsuits all day on deck. trying to get a feel for what cruising in November down the coast is like. I have no idea if it will be too windy, too cool, etc. KashasMom; Did you swim at all on any sea days?
