Weather in July: for Key, Grand Cay, and Coz:

We were on the Western Cruise this past July 6 and yes it was hot and very humid, especially in Key West. We only spent a short amount of time in Key West because of the heat - we couldn't wait to get back on the boat to the pool. In Coz and Grand Cayman we spent the days at the beach so it was much better. It is definitely hot and humid, but that is how summer is in the carribean, so we don't let it bother us too much, we are planning on going again in August, 2004!

I agree, we went on August 3rd of this year and Key West was just brutal with the heat. I think it felt hotter than either Grand Cayman or Cozumel. We took the trolley tour and walked around for about half an hour and were dripping wet. We also made a beeline for the ship and cooled off the in pool!!!

It was EXTEMELY hot especially in Mexico when we went this past July!
