Due to my job as a school secretary, this will be our first trip in August

However, having been in May, June. October and November, I have seen many torrential downpours, so not worried about them (sometimes it's a bonus because the parks tend to empty a bit, but some of the more "open" rides may shut if there is also lightening).
We are prepared (as much we can

) for the heat and humidity. My DH is an absolute sunworshipper

, so he is really excited about going in August.
We go on 8th, down to the beach for 12 nights, then back up to Orlando for the last 5 nights. We're doing it this way around for a change in the hope that the parks might be a little quieter.
From what friends have told me who have been both in the Summer and Easter, Summer wins handsdown because of the sheer size of the crowds at Easter. Since this will be your first time this Easter, perhaps next Summer might be a nice surprise for you. Have a wonderful time this Easter
We're really looking forward to it - although DD doesn't like SO much hot heat, she is well prepared and always wears a t-shirt over her bikini in the water (and given she spends so much time in the water the only place we really have to suncream is her face

).
