We're considering switching our trip from very late Feb/early Mar to mid-Feb (to get into the value season!!) But we want to know what the mid-Feb weather is like? Was anyone there in mid-Feb either this year or last? What did you wear? Were you able to swim?

We were there the first week of March 2003 and the weather was perfect for us then! We wonder if it is much of a difference between mid-Feb and early Mar as that's only a few weeks apart, but we don't know how the Florida winters are. We have looked at the historical weather websites, but we'd like some first-hand info. ::yes::

We are wondering if it's worth the money we'll save for possibly worse weather, please help us decide!!!! (Oh and yes we realize that the weather is unpredictable at any time of year... ;))

Be prepared for anything. We were there is past February. The first morning it was about 42 degrees. I had brought layers instead of big winter coats. I put my girls in a short sleeve shirt with a long sleeve shirt over it, then a light jacket, then a sweatshirt jacket over that. It was perfect. As the day went on, they were down to the long sleeve shirt. Then the rest of the week was great, upper 70s and lower 80s. Wore shorts most days. We went swimming and my older DD and DH went to Blizzard Beach one day. At night we wore a light jacket. You could any kind of weather mid-February.
