Weather in February?

We are planning on booking a 7 day cruise next year, and can't decide when to go. We are considering the first week of february, but I'm afraid of it being too cold! This is a one time thing for us, I don't expect we will have the money to do another one with the kids for several years, so I don't want to miss the time at the beach with them.

Any information from those of you who have sailed in January or the beginning of February would be greatly appreciated!!!

We sailed last year in early Feb and the weather was perfect! Sunny and warm (mid 70's) with a light breeze. The ocean was too cold for us to swim, but there were lots of other people swimming. If warm water is important to you, then Jan/Feb is not the month to go. The pools on board were not cold.

We've done a couple of Caribbean cruises in February and the weather was always wonderful. It gets a little cool at night, sometimes dipping down into the high 50's, but nothing a light jacket or sweater can't take care of!
