Hi all,
As it stands the plan is to head back to DLR Oct 30th-Nov 4th.
Like anywhere else weather always changes and of course can never be predicted BUT what is the "typical" weather in CA around this time? Should I pack any shorts/tanks or should I stick with pants/shirts? I'm sure at this time a light jacket/hoodie is a must for the evenings, but am wondering about day time weather as well?

Thanks!!

You should be fine with shorts or pants. The weather will still be warm then, with cooler daytime temps arriving later in Nov. Last year the weather in Oct. ranged from very warm to hot. Even the nights didn't always cool down. Layers will be your best bet, so the light jacket is a good idea.

There's really no "typical day," but a "typical week" would have some warm days in the 80s and some cooler days in the 70s with maybe a chance of rain. Last year at that time the daytime temperatures ranged from the low 70s to low 90s.

We were there the last week of October and it was very hot, close to 90 at least a couple days. By evening I needed a jacket. So be prepared for anything.

Pack them both! That time of year is very unpredictable but do check the weather before you come out for rain.

Everyone is right. Typically, we have cool mornings (jacket weather), warm by noon, cool again by 4'ish and more so as the sun goes down.
