ok hows the weather and crowds in oct.going to pop.

Nice, not bad....oh, more info than that? Just kidding. The weather is wonderful in Oct...starts to get a bit chillier in the evening by your timeframe. But it's not cold by any stretch of the imagination. The days are usually quite warm...fine for swimming.
The crowds aren't too bad. The Food and Wine Festival tends to bring more people in at Epcot, but the other parks aren't bad at all. This is one of my favorite times to go to WDW.

Thanks for the info. was hoping it would be warm days and cooler nights!!! Usually go in early May and wanted to try F&W. :)

I'm also going during this time (Oct.21-26th). We are planning to go to epcot on Fri. the 24th during the evening for the pm emh. I know it's supposed to be busier because of the f&w festival and lots of locals come on the weekend for it, but I thought it might not be as bad since there is also a mnsshp at mk that night. Thought a lot of people might go to it since it is the friday before halloween. What do you guys think?

Maybe it won't be to crowded even if it is hey your in Epcot! We always look for the least crowded areas go there and work our way around! We are going to go mid week! Have Fun!!!

Usually it's nice that time of year. Not last year. We were there at that time and it was just as bad as August (I was there in August last year, too, so I know). It was so hot and humid, we couldn't stand walking around the F&W Booths.

Last year the weather was great you never know. Great time to go IMHO.

I was there about that time a few years ago and it was cool, 50's during the day. Hurricane Wilma had gone through.

The last several years have been very warm here in Florida (late October)
We do MNSSHP at this time and have been HOT in our costumes...

Hopefully, this year the temps will be back to normal (70-80 degrees)

We were there 10/26-11/1 last year. When the sun was out it was hot, not like August hot but still very warm. It rained off and on a lot. We always had our ponchos handy. It wasn't a heavy downpour, but a few times. It would start to rain out of the blue, then clear up within five minutes. So the rain wasn't that bad. The temps stayed down with the rain. I really didn't mind it at all.

We were surprised that it was as crowded as it was. I have read on here that October is becoming a more and more popular time to go. If you have a good touring plan and get there early, it shouldn't be a problem. :goodvibes

We were there during the same time period last year. VERY warm with temps in the 90's with high humidity. In 2 weeks we only had one day of rain. The last 2 days the temps dropped into the low 80's w/ low humidity. It was actually warmer than the year we went in August. There were no hurricanes though, can't say the same about the August trip. It was also very crowed at the disney parks...most of Great Britan was there. Less people at the end of August. They were very friendly tourists though and were staying for multiple weeks due to the dollar decline.

*Last year the weather was great you never know. Great time to go IMHO.*

Were you there at the time the OP refers to, or were you there for Jersey Week? Last year, the weather was absolutely appalling during the time the OP refers to. It was unbearably hot and sticky with daily downpours -- exactly the same weather as August.

After we left and Jersey Week began, the weather turned dry and considerably cooler. We noted with disappointment that had we gone later, the weather would have been closer to what we had expected -- low humidity, cooler temperatures and little, if any, rain.

We are worried about going back the same time this year for the F&W Festival because it was so miserable last year. However, we refuse to go during Jersey Week due to the crowds. So, I guess we'll take our chances with the weather.

It is usually warm and very sunny with some rain off and on during the day...we will be there Oct 18 to the 25th

We will be there October 26th - November 1st, and while I hope it's warm enough for the kids to swim, I am really hoping it's not in the 90's. :)
