Weather & change of entertainment schedules have ruined some of my ADRs

I have only 3 more days left until I leave for WDW. Was finally able to go and complete my online check-in for POP. Have all my ADRs. I'm ready! Oh.. but.. wait.. I go and check the park hours one last time yesterday so I can print out the schedules ahead of time (yes, I know I can obtain up to date park hours there). First, I notice there's no fireworks at MK the night we have our ADR for CA Grill ... then notice that no Fantasmic the night we have Mama Melrose. Our 2nd shot at Fantasmic (booked Hollywood & Vine), it's not there either! Grrrrrr. Weeks and weeks of planning these ADRs around events and they're not even happening anymore. Oh .. and now .. possibly no Spirit of Aloha show. The night I have it booked for, weather.com says 70% chance of rain. :( At first, I scrambled and tried to change my ADRs to nights the events were happening. I was able to change a couple of them. Then, today, I go online to check the weather and entertainment schedules again and some things have changed again. A day that was expected to get rain (60%) is now only 10% chance. Fantasmic is still not happening my entire trip. I give up. The ADRs are what they are. Will just have to plan on the events our next trip, and cross our fingers we can indulge in the DDP when it happens.

Just disappointed.

That must be disappointing, but it's absolutely pointless to try to plan ADRs around the weather. We went a couple of weeks ago and the weather forecast changed every 6 hours before we left. In the end, it didn't rain any of the days it said it would and we were glad we hadn't frantically tried to change things. Just go with the flow. It is WDW after all!

I don't believe Disney cancels Spirit of Aloha for just rain. It's outdoors but under some sort of cover.

They do cancel it if the weather is very cold or if it is too windy/rainy to hold the show. It's not a very frequent occurrence.

It's really not possible to plan anything based on a weather forecast. In Florida they change up to the minute. I've been there when it rained in Epcot but did not rain at MK, so even "70% chance of rain" isn't definite for any one area.

I know, I had the same problem. We're only going for 3 nights. I had been planning on eating CS for dinner on 2/3 to catch Spectro (now cancelled). Booked H&V bkfst on 2/4 to spend the day at HS to catch Fantasmic, still on but now 2/4 is the only day of our trip with Spectro (and Fantasmic, 2 shows no less). So frustrating.

I ended up cancelling H&V and booking Narcoosse's 2/3 instead (for my birthday). Gotta go with the flow. I think we're going to spend the day at HS and then head to MK at night for Spectro (which I tried to see on both previous trips and still haven't).
