Wearing this will my girls be comfortable?

I'm literally packing as I'm typing this and I'm starting to worry. We're leaving in about two weeks and I'm packing mostly shorts, a few capris, tank tops, short sleeves and a few skirts and dresses. I'm not so much worried about me and hubby but our girls ages 11 and 4. I looked up the current FL weather and I am aware that Florida weather is a bit on the wacky side for right now the temps seem to be averaging in the upper 70's and lower 80's. Do you think they'll be comfortable in the afternoons with tank tops? I have light jackets for dinners in AC and cool evening while watching fireworks but I just wanted to double check about the afternoons.

Are there any Florida residents out there who can tell me the real scoop on April weather, we usually visit during the month of May where the temps really start to get hot.

I'm not a Florida resident but we were in WDW last year the same time you are planning on being there and it was warm during the day and got cooler as the sun went down. They should be fine with a light jacket. Maybe bring some leggings to throw in your backpack. I leave in 9 days and need to start packing too! Plus my house sold and I need to pack up the house too since we will have to be out 2 weeks after we get back from disney!

Always bring a pair of long pants (or two) and at least a light jacket. If you never use them, great. If its cold, you won't regret it.

We've hauled out the light jacket when the day before was in the 80s, in the mornings when the day is going to be much cooler.

It has been nice here for a while now. I dont think you will have to worry about them not being comfortable in tank tops. But yes I would pack a light sweater just in case it gets cold at night or in restaurants
