Wearing smaller sizes

This has got to be the most thrilling part of losing weight & inches! I went to Nordstrom last evening to try on a few pairs of pants. It was slow, so the saleslady asked what size I was looking for and I told her "XL or an 18". Between us, we found 4 pairs for me to try on. I found a pair of Ralph Lauren's that fit perfectly - even the right length! It wasn't until this morning when I showed them to my Mom did I see that they were a size 16!! Now, when you've been wearing: 24's, 22's & 20's, that's really something! It's given me the motivation to go through my closet and try on EVERYTHING and get rid of the stuff that is too big. Big sale at Macy's on Friday & Saturday!!

Feel great doesn't it. I am only 5'2'' and have been exercising and dieting for 2 years. Sunday I tried on a pair of pull on white pants size 6P at Macy's for my DCL trip in Sept.. I have never worn a 6P in my life. I packed up all my 12P and 14P pants and out they go...

It gets a little strange though. Most of the time, I'm wearing a small. Sizes have gotten so weird, that someone my size is now a "small". I wonder what really small people wear.

Started in a 14, mid July found me in 12s but now the 12s are falling off my butt. I think I'll be setting comfortably into 10s

I went swimsuit shopping this morning for our upcoming disney cruise....all the suits are 66% off at Dillards. Well, I started with 16's..had to put them back and get 14's..yippee.

Also got a pair of size 14 dress pants...zipped up and not even tight...cracked me up.

I wasn't expecting that..since just a couple of months ago I was wearing 18W and they were tight!
