We have ADR for dinner at CRT on DD4 birthday next week.
I'd like to dress her in a princess dress for dinner (not the whole time in the park). When she usually wears these dresses at home, she just slips them on over her clothes.
What do I do for dinner? just shorts under the dress?
what about shoes?

I'm so used to just having dress-up at home, that I don't know how to do this out in public...especially for Cinderella pictures!!!

Can anyone help me with suggestions or ideas?
Thanks so much!!!

Slip it on over tank and shorts if it is hot or leggings and long sleeve t if it is colder. My DD wears the dresses lots of days for a while, takes it off and then puts it back on if the mood strikes. Carry a 2 gallon Zip loc to stash the dress in. It makes them a lot smaller and easier to carry.

Yep, that would be my suggestion as well. My DD loves to wear her dresses all day at the parks, but I do bring a change of clothes in case she changes her mind. I did let her wear her Belle shoes last year for BBB & subsequent pictures, but then changed her into real shoes after so she could walk more easily. I usually take keds and black mary janes as her only real choices.

Thanks for the suggestions Tricia and Keri.
I hope you guys have a Magical Vacation! I see us three will be there the same time (we check in on Sunday)!
:santa:

I didn't think about the ziploc bag thing. We just rented a locker and stored the princess dress in the locker until it was time for dinner. My DD was very excited to see Cinderella since she is her favorite. Got to capture her reaction on video when Cinderella walked into the room. Watching her 4 year old face light up was the highlight of the trip. We also did the dinner at 1900 Park Fare, which was great because you get to meet the Fairy Godmother, Prince Charming, and two of the mice.
