Think it would safe to wear prescription glasses on the ride without fear of them flying off and breaking, or never seeing ( no pun intended) them again.? I really would love to see all of it, but need my glasses to do so, cause without them on, everything is quite blurry.

My DH rode the first time without them, the other 10 times with them on because he couldn't see a thing.

He did buy one of those cord things that attach to your glasses just in case but they stayed on just fine.

Croakies are your friend.

I rode FJ without my glasses and missed alot of the details. The next time I ride I will definitely keep them on as there's no ride motion that would make them come off. It's too bad we had to leave before I could ride again.:sad2:

We buy glasses straps for the entire family before we visit ANY theme park. Just ask at your local pharmacy - I've bought them in both the US and Canada, and have never had any trouble finding them.

Yes, it looks a bit dorky, especially when I put a little extra knot in the back to snug them up and make them extra secure. But we don't go to theme parks to look like fashion plates.

I didn't have a problem at all wearing my glasses. The movement is extremely smooth and not too fast.

No problem with my glasses, though I think it depends how tight a fit your glasses are, if you have a pair of glasses like my son had that can slip off your face when moving your head rapidlly, then you may want to use a strap.

Thanks, Sillysassy, for asking this question. I was wondering the same thing about glasses. Without mine, I may as well not even ride, I wouldn't be able to see a thing. Glad to know I can ride and not worry, or a least ride, and not lose them. :stitch:
