Wearing Mickey Ears During Rides

I am going to get a pair of Mickey ears to make my honeymoon more fun and also, with a bald head, it will help eliminate some sunburn. I know there's an adjusting string to go under the neck, but are there certain rides that I should remove them? I wouldn't want them to fall off. Any suggestion at all parks would be great. Thanks!

If you use the chin strap you should be ok. If concerned just ask the CM before you get onto the ride. I would not worry about it, just have a great time.

First thing that comes to mind is the pre ride video for Soarin. You want to take them off for that (although I can't see them falling off, they ask you do do so)

Kali River Rapids because you don't want them to get wet. Same for Splash Mountain.

My DD rides with hers on for most of the rides, but I notice she holds them.

I've had to hold them on for some rides. Soarin they tell you specifically to take them off so I do.

I wear my ears on almost everything! I rock the chin strap AND I buy a few clips from CVS and I clip the cap on. The only time I almost lost them was on Splash Mountain when a rather large wave hit us in the second row and those ears when right off; chin strap saved the day though! Good luck.

Hi!

I wore the white veil ears during our honeymoon last October and I never wanted to take them off! I did very nearly lose them on Dinosaur when they flew off my head,luckily I caught them in the air lol so I did take them off for Expedition Everest,space mountain and rock n roller-coaster *** after dinosaur I thought it was best! They stayed on for everything else tho,even test track which I was dubious about!

I must of slipped under the CMs radar for soarin as they never told me to take them off for that,oops!

Mine were the headband style so no string so yours may be more sturdy than mine

Yup, Soarin' specifically tells you to take them off.

I rock the clips. The only things I take then off on are: Kali, RnR, and Mission Space. I wear them everyday and I am amassing quite the collection. I'm even making my own custom ones!

Please please please take them off during the shows! Philharmagic, Muppets, Bug's life, etc. So hard for the people behind you to see! (even worse with the Goofy and Sorcerers hats)

Def Space Mountain! No joke I almost lost my Minnie ears a few months back lol I honestly should've known better :/ Also, Test Track blew them pretty hard.

I've had no problem on Splash Mountain ...mine are also the headbands one, though.

Thanks for the tip! I'm usually sensitive to people around me so I'd probably be too nervous to wear them for the shows anyway. Plus I'm out of sunlight so it's safe!
