Hello everyone

So our plans have changed full circle since 6 months ago. We intended on having an intimate wedding at Disney this fall. Because of lots of different reasons, the biggest being that we found a house and decided it was the right time to buy! Now a lot of our wedding budget has been sunk into that. Plus Disney added more $$ to their escape wedding package....so we decided that we will have the ceremony off site afterall.

Instead we are trying to incorporate Disney into the wedding in a different way. We have approximately 20 people that will be attending the wedding and for a reception I'd like to have it at a Disney resort. Probably O'Hana if we can get in. I know I've read a few posts on this board about how they didn't get married on Disney property but nobody bothered them in their gowns at the resort restaurants. I'm just wondering if anyone has heard anything differently lately?

We're also planning on taking everyone to the F&W festival at EPCOT the day after the wedding so we can continue our celebration at Disney.

Well, thanks in advance to anyone who knows anything current about this!

Take care

To the best of my knowledge you can still can have dinner in any of the resorts at WDW in your wedding dress - you don't have to have had your wedding in Disney either.

Congrats on the house - the castle really helps for a Magical Ever After so it's totally understandable your change of plans, the important thing is you're still getting your Fairytale Wedding, wherever it may be :)
