Wearing Disneyland shirt in WDW..is this a NoNo?

Okay..so when i was ordering shirts from Ebay this summer I have to be honest and say I didn't know the difference btw Disneyland and WDW..thought they were all the same....But u guys/gals changed my whole education on the place!!!

so i just looked in my closet and on my shirts is Disneyland.......

Now should i wear them to WDW...or will people look at me crazy? Plus i'll be wearing the ears...so i know they will be looking already at those....Whatcha think? thanx

They actually sell a small selection of t-shirts from the other Disney parks right there on Main St. Where your DL shirt with pride, you'll look like a true fan

I have alot of Disneyland shirts that I bought off of Disney Deals on Ebay and I wear them the WDW. I sometimes even wear my Universal Studios shirts to WDW!

When we were at Disney Land in June, (and it was really chilly at night) I bought a Disneyland Jacket with our trip to WDW in Nov specifically in mind, so as someone mentioned I would look at like a true Disney nut!

Nothing wrong with that. I've seen DL shirts in WDW, and WDW shirts in DL. I like to buy a new Disney baseball cap whenever I go on a trip and usually wear the last one I got until I choose a new one. On my next trip to WDW, I'll be wearing the cap I got on my last trip to DL when I get there.

My SO bought a DL jacket on our last trip and since we are going to WDW in early march, she's hoping it's cool enough in the evening to be able to wear it at WDW.

Actually, wearing a DL t-shirt in WDW was the reason for one of those elusive magical moments for me!

I was wearing a POTC shirt that I had bought at DL. We were walking down main street at WDW MK and a man from behind me tapped me on the shoulder.

He apologized for bothering me, but wanted to know where in WDW I had bought the T-shirt. I told him that I hadn't, that I got it while in Disneyland. That's when I realized he was a WDW "suit" because he said, "That's it! I knew we didn't have these here!".

Next thing I know, he's dragging me halfway around the park so that he can show it to another "suit". It was so funny! He kept saying over and over to the other guy, "Why don't WE have this?", "We need to get this!". At any rate, our group ended up with a free meal for our "trouble"!

So, wear the shirt! You just never know what might happen!

I wear my Disneyland Paris clothes in WDW and vice versa - It often leads to nice conversations, especially with CMs.

I have a specific Disney wardrobe that I only wear in the Parks. -- I wear my DL t-shirt to WDW all the time. It's kind of funny, because in our albums the kids get bigger and I'm wearing the same shirts in all the different years.

One time at WDW, we were wearing our matching grey DL t- shirts and were on the Jungle cruise.. the skipper had a lot of fun making fun of us the entire trip.. he kept teasing us that we were REALLY lost and were at the wrong park.....

Was great fun.. had other CM's says fun things to us too...

I was at DL once, wearing a WDW shirt while shopping in the Emporium on Main Street when a sweet little grandmotherly CM came up to me and told me I was out of uniform and better buy a DL shirt right away before I got caught...she made the sale!

A guard at Islands of Adventure was actually rude - with a four letter word to boot - to my 13yo DS when he had the nerve to wear a WDW shirt at IoA. I should have reported him, but wanted to get on with our day.

Not trying to hyjack or anything... but curious... how does DL Paris compare to WDW's Magic Kingdom?

And to the OP: no problem wearing DL shirt in WDW! But... I wouldn't be so bold as to wear a Universal Studio's shirt to WDW again. CM at Spaceship Earth made a rather negative comment about it once and it made me feel bad.

I think the CM's sometimes think you are wearing items from other parks because you WANT a reaction. I know that if you wear any Mickey Mouse item such as a hat to US/IOA, without fail one of the CM's will call out "hey, did you know you've got a rat on your head?" I would imagine a few WDW CM's have picked up on that, though they shouldn't stoop to the same level! But no, WDW and DL are interchangeable IMHO

At Universal, they routinely have a little fun with guests who wear Disney apparel to the UO parks. One morning while waiting in line at the USF turnstiles, one of the CM's asked me if I had a tissue because he needed it to get some Pooh off the shirt of the woman behind me! It actually was kind of funny.

They use the "pooh" comment all the time at Disney, too. When DH worked bag checks, they would give out Mickey stickers to the adults wearing Universal t-shirts. Put it right on for them too! All in good fun, of course.

Go ahead and wear your DL shirts with pride - it IS the original!
