Wear to buy pants for dd9

My DD9 has the same shape going on (both of my daughters have the butt going on!) and the pants I found that fit her the BEST are the Target Circo plus jeans but they only have them in the stores occasionally. In August they had them on clearance for $5 and since I didn't have her with me and I wasn't sure they would fit, I only bought 2. :scared1: Sooooo kicking myself for that now!! One is size 10 1/2 and one is 12 1/2 and they both fit exactly the same and have adjustable waists. Haven't checked online tho, hope that helps!

My DD went through a phase when regular were too tight and plus were way too big. She made out very well with the Circo brand. They are definitely cut bigger than the other places we shop. The best part is the adjustable waiste. Now that she has slimmed down she can still wear all of her pants.:thumbsup2

My DD9 has alot of clothing issues. She has a very round bottom and bigger than norm thighs and tummy. She is not "fat" just on the larger side. The only place that I can buy her jeans right now is Limited Too.I used to be able to buy JCPenney but she has just gone through another growth spurt:scared1: and their 14 1/2 are too short and getting too big in the waist. The 14 1/2 at Limited Too are longer and a little smaller in the waist.BTW,Limited Too is having a sale online where everything is half off.The shipping is pretty steep though.

My daughter has always been built this way and has never been very comfortable wearing jeans. We have bought many many pairs of the cotton blend/elastic waist/knit pants instead of just jeans. Target has the Circo brand, and both Old Navy and Gap also have them.

She is wearing Old Navy plus size girls jeans now and also has a pair of Mudd jeans from Kohl's that are her favorite.

My sister has good luck with Arizona jeans from JCPenney for her dd, they are roomier in the bottom but not so big around the waist.

Kohl's carries Levi's in half sizes that fit my DD really well.

I'll second this suggestion. The Levi's plus or half sizes aren't as big as some of the other plus sizes, so if she's kind of in between regular and plus, I would try Levi's (and Kohl's has sales all the time). For my DD8, the plus size jeans at LE, JCPenney, and Gap are too big for the correct length. The Levi's are great, though. We find that the JCPenney girls' plus sized stuff to run pretty big. DD8 wears plus is some styles and not in others.

BTW, for Lands' End stuff, you can return to Sears for free (no need to pay return shipping). Gap and Old Navy (both have plus sized jeans in stores, but not other things) have a bunch of plus sized clothing for girls online, and you can return stuff to the stores. If you sign up at these web sites and/or search for codes, you can wait for free shipping and then you are out no money if nothing works (just return to the stores for free).

It is so frustrating, but there is stuff out there if you search. Some girls will wear legging and such (love the leggings and tunic look), but DD8 only wants to wear jeans (not even dresses). She has refused to wear leggings since kindergarten, but with the recent styles of tunic/leggings, she will wear these very occasionally.
