We will be in WDW 3/27 to 4/5

celebrating my DH's birthday. Any Disney brides going to be down there during that time. A few of us are going to try to get together at DTD at Goofy's at 8:00pm Sunday night. Stop by if you are in the area.

If I see any brides in bridal ears I will say hi and see if you are on the dis.

We are going down for the weekend (26-29) and staying at the dolpin.
It's my birthday weekend, too!

Sadly, we will be on our way home on Sunday!

Sorry you are heading home on Sunday - it would be great to meet all different Disney brides. We will be in the AK on Friday and Epcot on Saturday. We have lunch reservations at 3:00 in Italy and then plan on watching the F&G Festival Concert and then watching IllumiNations.

Please say hi if you see us and I will do the same.

At least you can get your DF to actually wear the ears,lol. I'm still trying to convince my DF to just put them on for a picture.
Wish I could join everyone at DTD but I already have plans for that weekend. I live locally though so hopefully I'll be able to meet some Disbrides in the future. Do the people on this board arrange meets pretty regularly? Maybe we should start a thread of when everyone is going to be in town for their planning sessions and see if any of the dates match up?

Ha ha - I could not get my DH to keep the Mickey Groom Ears off - he loved them.

About meeting other Disney brides - that would be great. Not sure if anyone schedules them or not. When we were down in November for our wedding some Disney brides did a breakfast but we were not there yet. I actually meet another Disney dis bride on our wedding day. Randy was her photographer and we got a photo together. A Disney no no. I was finishing photos with Misty after our reception and she was heading to The Boardwalk for some photos with Randy. Here is a rare photo. It's a good thing Randy was her photographer and not a Disney photographer.

We knew from the disboards where and when we were each getting married that day but did not think we would be able to meet. It just happened - we were finished with Misty and were heading back to our room and she was just getting there for some photos. We saw each other and just had to get together.

I remember when you guys met and I thought it was so great. Have you heard anything from her? She has not been on the boards in a long time.

Too bad you will not be down in WDW next week. Maybe another time. This year we are also heading down the end of May for my birthday and hopefully November for our anniversary.

I laugh when I watch those Bridezilla shows where the bride is "it's all about me". Our day was all about us, our family, friends, and anyone else that happened to be around. It was the happiest day of our lives and it was so important to share it with everyone.
