kdka421 said:Quick update - over the long weekend, hubby and I did some shopping for his Swedish Chef costume!
He actually already had the hat, and the bow tie - so we just were looking for the shirt, and the apron. We got lucky, and found both...for great deals as well! Ended up spending < $10 to put this together.
He couldn't wait to show everyone how it turned out - so here's the picture! Enjoy!![]()
Love it!!!!
OMG! That's amazing! I love it, have to show my DH, he'll get a great kick out of it.
Your DH makes a great Sweedish Chef
Also, I think the dress will look great when it's all done. I can totally picture the final result, or at least, what you're hoping it to look likeI'm sure it will turn out awesome

Yay for your resort change!!I think without kids Coronado Springs will be a better fit for you guys. I have friends at work that stayed there last year and loved it!

I haven't been there before but I will be right before you!!!
I'm happy you were able to make the change!! I actually book King rooms at the moderates as while we like to be close we like our space too!![]()
Wow, did I ever miss that post!
Anyway, the CSR is awesome!!!I'm so happy you guys get to stay there!!!
The food court is different from when I was there, but almost all of the CM's I encountered at the Pepper Market weren't very friendly. That's the only negative thing I can say about the resort...everything else is wonderful (including the other CM's that work there)! The theming, the rooms, the Maya Grill, and even the gift shop!
People will tell you it's a large resort, and it is, but if you can make a request to get near a bus stop, you won't notice it much at all. Our walk to the main building, El Centro, was maybe 5 minutes or so...we were in Cabanas 9B (I think)...it's in my TR. We walked around the lake one night, and it took maybe 20-30 minutes round trip...and we were going slowly and taking pictures.
The buses were great, and the longest ride was about 11 minutes, so it's pretty centrally located.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!![]()
Thanks for all the info!! I'm so excited about the switch
I'm not 100% sure what building I'm going to request yet, but I was thinking Casistas 4. I like the idea of being at the first bus stop. We definitely don't care about being close to the pool.
I'm glad to hear you had good bus service. I don't think I'll mind the large size at all. Most of all, I'm excited to try a new resort!
