Once at the fort we notice that campers on both sides of us was using all the electric outlets, so my daughter asked cast member who was walking by, which plug in was ours since we were getting our golf cart and needed to hook it up.
They told us that the post with 107 was marked and was ours and that they would let the people know that they were hooked up in our site.
So off went the cast member to tell the campers next to us and after cast member left, out comes owners of the RV next to us, wanting to know why my daughter told the cast member that they were using our electric outlet, as good campers don't sweat the small like that.
My daughter then told him that we were getting our golf cart and needed to hook it up.
He left and came back with something to hook up his cart and Christmas sign and plus our cart.
She told him that it was fine as long as we have a place to hookup our golf cart.
She hooked up all our Christmas lights from the back pole. Which was okay, just didn't understand why this guy was mad at us, as we wanted to use our hook up.
He came out three times telling my daughter that good campers don't sweat the small stuff.
So what a way to start our trip with our neighbors upset with us and plus on the other side of us, was his family too... Only good thing that happened was the next day the site behind us, a couple pulled in with their camper and they had 4 boys which took the heat off us, as the guy started to yell at them ....

Been RVing since '84, I pay for the site, everything with that site is mine not someone else's.

IMO, a good camper would ASK for permission.

. . . They told us that the post with 107 was marked and was ours. . .

1) On your site, you have have rights to all the site's amenities and utilities.
2) If "crowded out" of the outlet, unplug them after ONE request.
3) We will back you up.
4) Just come to the Outpost and we will assist you.
5) AND, having adequate electrical service is not "small stuff".

Sounds like he doesn't follow his own advice. :confused3

Maybe he will check out soon.

Have a great stay, veraletta. :wave2:

Sounds more like a rude camper to me. He shouldn't have been using the electric post on another site in the first place, but if he was and he seen someone starting to occupy the site, he should have went over and unplugged everything instead of leaving one outlet.

Thanks everyone, just thought oh my I don't want to step on any toes while here at Disney ... We are pretty agreeable and will share but I was kind of getting tired of him coming over and telling my daughter good campers don't sweat the small stuff...

We are home now and we enjoyed our trip. Weather was great only had a few nights that got cold... only rain one time.

My granddaughter loved the Christmas party and told everyone she saw Merry Christmas. She loved that her Mommy had Christmas lights on our site and that they played Christmas carols.

Crowds were great only had about 10-20 minute waiting in line I would say most days were a 4 or 5 out of 10.
Even the Christmas party wasn't to bad we went on the 17th.

Will post more later trying to unpack RV and wash everything.
Weather here in Ohio southeast it is windy but warm for December it's 63.
Oh yeah first time winterizing our RV alone was a piece of cake.

naah,, I don't sweat the small stuff either,,,so long as ya ask before ya use my stuff,,,LIKE MY ELECTRIC OUTLETS ON MY SITE !

Being a good camper also means to be considerate of your neighbors, their STUFF and their SITE !(and I don't care how good a angler ya are !)

Wow... The nerve! Been camping/RV'ing for many years... Never have I heard of another camper doing this. First of all... It's illegal... Theft of services (if he's not paying for electric).
"Don't sweat the small stuff." Hahaha... In other words, "shhh, I'm taking advantage of the compassionate person in you." This person is bullying you, plain and simple.

I'd explain this to an employee and ask them to handle it discreetly.

"Don't sweat the small stuff" huh...

I'd ask nicely the first time to use his own outlet
Second time I unplug his stuff...
If anything is said, let the CMs handle it
They'll show him the exit gate if anything else happens

People are just donkeys sometimes, and you can't make them understand how wrong they really are. I would never do this to my neighbor on a camping trip, but some people just have no morals.

All campers are not nice/polite/easy going - but thankfully 'most' are! ;)

In 2010 (first of Dec.) we were at FW (yes, the year we all 'froze', and a lot of plants also) and we had neighbors that had displays with spotlights on them. Yep, the spotlights were toward our site, one spotlight was on our bedroom window :(
Even night shades could not overcome that!

They would sit under their awning (in relative dark) and enjoy all their decorations while we just wanted to sleep :headache: (past 10pm)

We 'suffered' it out, but I told DH that never again, next time we would be very polite and ask them to please direct their spotlights elsewhere. If that didn't get it we would ask for help.

We were there during that time too (Beach Club)... We still swam a couple nights. People just assumed we were Canadian! Lol.
