We were family of the day yesterday

Let me start by saying - that no- we "did" nothing special to get picked and we were not even aware there was a family of the day at Universal. It was our first trip there in 5-6 years. We were just lucky- unless of corse they could read my mind knowing the issues I have has with my magic bands the first two days of my vacation and am considering staying offsite next year or visiting universal again next year due to these dang bands.... Anyway- DD read a park welcome intro and Nephew yelled action. We received a complimentary 8x10 photo and got front of the line access (which was amazing.and convinced me that I am def. staying on site at universal a couple days next year!) anyway- it was sure special and more of a surprise than we could have imagined for the day. I hope your family is chosen one day-- it really made us feel like rulers of the land and like VIPs!!!
