and we actually found one. With no tears, no temper tantrums, no screaming, and Bri did well too. :o
It's black and white, and a little different, but soooo pretty. And she looks great in it. There were several that I liked, but this one came out on top.

Yay!!!

I don't have a digital camera Dan. It's one of those things that will have to wait a while.

Right on! I remember shopping for my grad dress in high school and it was really hard to find one! We went to so many stores and had so much trouble. Nice you found one so easily. :)

I knew you were in Canada when I saw you say grad dress. My DH is canadian and they just had grad as well. We have a separate prom from grad. We were just discussing this the other day too when we saw all the prom kids out and about.

Serena....My DD and I were in Maryland a few weeks ago(I went for a job interview and she tagged along) We shopped in a huge mall there and she found a dress...and fell in love with it...had to have it type dress.....but they didn't have her size, two available, one bigger, one smaller!! So, she choose the bigger one, paid for it and brought it home on the plane. My friend is a seamstress and has the dress now, taking it in a bit and will be ready intime for the prom. We know noone else will have it, cause we checked their closest store was in some other state and it can't be ordered online either!
Best part----It was only $80.00!!

Cool! We heard about some girls going to other states so they wouldn't have one everyone else has. Luckily my dd didn't see the need.
$80 is a really good price. I wasn't quite so lucky.

Glad it went well for you both! :)

I remember prom shopping with my DD, great memories...although it usually seemed to take her all day to find "just the right dress" and nine times out of ten it would be the first dress she tried on that we would end up going back to! But it was always a fun day of shopping, eating out and spending time with my DD :)
