I also think that Pete's rants are better not as a segment. It's kind of fun to wonder before the podcast is available or listened to whether he will rant or not. If he did a segment, we'd all know it was coming and some of the fun would be lost.

Planned ranting is an oxymoron. You can't plan a rant. A certain topic sets off a strong emotion and... "out falls" an emotional response. Pete has strong opinions and is smart enough to get his point across without offending or going to far....well, most of the time anyway! His rant's are great! We just have to e-mail him topics that will get him fired up!!
