We surprised dd (almost 5) with the trip this morning, and she is on the moon right now.
We handed her a Tinker Bell card this morning, saying that it was an early birthday card.
(Her birthday is Wed the 10th.) Inside, was some pixie dust and instuctions for her to make a wish. She was soooo cute! She sprinkled the pixie dust, closed her eyes tight, and I heard her say very quietly, "I wish to go to Disney World!" (Thank goodness that was her wish!
) Then DH asked what she wished for, and she wouldn't tell him!
I said that I had heard her, and then we gave her another card. Inside was a Magic Kindgom brochure and a note from the Princesses inviting her to come and celebrate her birthday with them.
rincess She didn't get it at first. Finally, she said, "Are we going to Disney World? For REAL!?" You should have seen her face!!
We also gave each girl a Princess tee shirt to wear on the plane. They were both excited about their shirts, even little dd (17 months)! (I don't normally let them wear character clothing.) Heck, I'm excited too! I cannot wait to leave tomorrow morning. We will be there for a week, and we have lots of character meals planned. Will come back with a full report.
