Dang it! I don't know why... but I swore the Vancouver Gay Pride parade was this upcoming weekend! BAH HUMBUG!! Hubby broke the news to me that we were one week off as he went to confirm timing and realized we are almost a year early in planning for 2011 
My parents used to try and go downtown to show their support as a straight couple and hubby thought that it would be nice if we'd take over the tradition for them in showing our support for families being families no matter what-- knowing my hubby hates big functions and mass crowds for events I thought it was really sweet that he wanted to go.
We promise we'll be there next year; I'll put it in my calendar now.
