Good for you! I haven't had my heat on this year! Partly because I live in the south and partly because of the ridiculous gas prices!! December's bill was 3 times Novembers so I STOPPED using it and got a room heater that followed me around!

I haven't had the heat on for several days and my windows have been OPEN also!! Crank up the attic fan during the day and I've got some nice temps in the house!! Think we're supposed to get thunder storms tonight. We need them--we're a little on the dry side here.

we have the neighbors from **** so we have had to air on for a long time and this is in Indiana. They have dogs that bark all night and burn things all night so I just leave the air on to block the smell and noise. I really miss having the windows open, but its easier than to make them follow the law.

When I lived in CA I had radiant heat in the ceiling - how inefficient is that. I went several winters where I did not have the heat on at all. Oh of course it helped that I as also having hot flashes.

We went from 54 degrees one night to 82 degrees the next day. That's summer! What happened to spring?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh...this weather reminds me of Florida.

Windows open all night here too. Helped nephew and wife move yesterday got pretty warm temperature and temperment wise. Hung laundry out today and with the warmth and wind was dry in no time.
