Hiya all! Originally we paid for our dining for our 11/16 trip but I was able to get it refunded and paid a bit extra to have one TS and one QS everyday. So in actuallity we got a refund of around $250.00. Going were my DH, DD4 and DD 10 and we stayed at Pop century from 11/16-11/19 and on the Wonder for our bounceback cruise on 11/19-11/22.
I have to say there really wasn't much I didn't like on this trip. :thumbsup2
We flew in from Milwaukee and on our first day headed straight to the POP foodcourt. I thought it was much bigger than all the other All Stars we have stayed at. The food court and store are connected. I purchased two mugs for soda but often times still got the drink with meal like OJ or coffee because we forgot the mug back at the room lol:)
At the food court I had the reuben flatbread. I forgot to take a pic before I ate it lol! It was yummy standard with the thousand island dressing and corned beef. I shared it with my dd4.

My oldest had pizza for lunch and I had the tie dyed cheesecake.

Dinner was at Sanna at Kidani Village. I liked the atmosphere better here than at Jikos. Jikos to me has a more modern feel while Sanna has more of a rustic feel. There are artifacts everywhere you look and we had a table overlooking the Savannah. We could see giraffes and zebra from our window.popcorn::

Our plan didn't allow for appitizers but that was ok we were stuffed most times and didn't need them.

I had the pick two option on the menu and picked shrimp in a green curry sauce and a delicous fall off the bone braised beef. It was served with a jasmine rice.

To drink I had a mixed berry lasse which was included with the meal plan.

My oldest and DH had the tandori shrimp but found it too spicy for her. She had a mango drink also included in the plan.
VMCP044.jpg

My youngest had a turkey macarroni but she was more interested in eating the cheese off lol

When desert rolled around we really weren't hungry but ordered it none the less lol! DH4 stuck with the standard Mickey topped ice cream.

Our first desert was a orange flavored sesame cake and ice cream topped with strawberries I didn't care for.

[Cassie 10 had a mango flavored pudding. I thought it was so so. The mango flavor was very light.

We headed back to the hotel after trying to find Jambo house to see the saffari at night but didn't know you have to take a bus to get there. We headed back to the hotel and did some shopping in the store and went for a swim. I have to get the kids off to school I hope to write about day 2 and the MVMCP later:thumbsup2

Well I can see a few of my photobucket images aren't working. I will try to post the pics later :)

Hiya
I just called and asked if I could get the free dining they were offering? I had about $300.00 left to pay on my package at the time and with the refund I owed 0. They refunded me the price of my dining and I paid a few dollars extra to get the one table service. I will have to see if I can find the invoice. I only bought a one day park pass and we also bought MVMCP tickets seprately. But in order to get the dining you must buy a minimum one day park pass.

Day 2 at Pop I really didn't take any food pics. Except for when we went to Downtown Disney and oggled the chocolate at Goofy's.
There are plenty of things you can get on your snack credit here but my daughter opted for a Coca-cola slush. We also got to see the Space Shuttle take off when we were in Downtown Disney.

This was a QS day for us so we ate at the food court at POP and then headed off to see the decorations at the monorail resorts. The gingerbread house at The Grand Floridian was finished but they were still working on a gingerbread tree in the lobby before Chef Mickeys.

We headed off to the MVMCP at 4 and ate first thing at Cosmic Rays. Nothing special here just a burger and fries for my DH and I my DD and I had the rib platter. She is 10 so she can order off the adult menu. Thank goodness because she was sick of having chicken nuggets all the time.(She doesn't eat red meat like hamburger but will eat steak and some fish)
The castle lighting and show were amazing. I hope to get some video up soon! I have to purchase a video editor for quicktime so I can post it to photobucket. I do have a bit of video of the castle.

We had our first Dole Whip ever in the 5 times we have been there and had some free hot chocolate and cookies. We come from Wisconsin so it is strange for us to be sipping hot chocolate when its in the mid 70's :santa:

Are you back already? It seems like yesterday when you said you were leaving for WDW!!

Great reviews so far! Can't wait for more! :goodvibes

Hi,
Yep I am back! We got in at 8 pm last night after a day of swimming at the airport Hyatt. I have sea legs and feel like the boats a rockin lol!

Well ok I have no idea why some of my pics are posting and others aren't? Well the pics might go smaller from on out if I have to switch them to a different picture place. Thanks for your patience;)

Day 3

Our next day was breakfast at Akershus. We entered the park bright and early but it wasn't open yet. Our ressie was for 9:20am and we were held behind a line until Mickey and friends began the countdown and each of us went our seperate ways.

We checked in and waited for our name to be called in the courtyard. As we entered my daughter Claire took a pic with Belle.

Breakfast was served family style but you could get up and there was a bar that included continental breakfast items like breads, herring, rasins, fruit etc...The breakfast included a complimentary picture with a Belle. I honestly think the free pic they gave us is the best pic Claire has ever taken!

After breakfast we made our way to the Living Seas and Nemo. Claire also went to see Crush and was just the right age for that and my DH and DD went to see the aquariums.

By the time we were done with that the World showcase was open and we headed around the world making our way to France. I took Samantha Browns advice and got the Grand Marnier slush which came in a martini glass. I finished it by the time we hit Morocco lol!

Our ressie for Teppan Edo was for 5:30PM. I did not know there was a elevator at ground level. This would have save us alot of stairs lol! We were able to get in much earlier. We were starving at this point.

The wait wasn't long and we shared a table with a family from Pittsburgh. I was on the far side of the table and really couldn't hear but my DH talked with them.

Ken was our chef. I think he cut down on the tricks as not to scare my DD4. We still had a good time! I ordered a appitizer which wasn't included in the dining plan. It was an assortment of tuna, shrimp, and california rolls for about $9.99. (not pictured) Drinks were iced sweatened green tea. I ordered the steak and shrimp dinner which was served with noodles and priced $29.99One of the times I was surely glad we were on the dining plan lol! Our total bill came to $135.00. There was some language confusion however. I gave the woman a $20.00 to pay for my appitizer but she thought it was a tip and charged my KTWC for the appitizer. I called in the AM and had it taken off.
