We received a massive dose of Magic at Epcot Tuesday, 5/31...UPDATE: PHOTO ADDED PG 1

I love stories of these wonderful character cast members! Thank you so much for sharing. I'm sorry your daughter lost her book and was so sad, but what a great ending! Make sure you print out your story so you can show it to her again when she's older! She'll be even more amazed when she understands this like we do!

These folks are absolutely amazing, aren't they????

Loved your story! Now I have teary eyes and a happy heart! Wonderfully written--- thanks for capturing the magical feeling that brings us all back to the mouse!

From the other side. My daughter was on the Disney college program and found an autograph book at property control in the lost and found. She went out and got more autographs in the book and mailed it back to the person whose address was inside the book. She never got acknowledgement that they received it or a thank you.

She had paid extra for delivery confirmation so she knows it got there.

How hard would it have been for them to say thank you? My daughter did the right thing and felt real good about it. It's a shame the family didn't do anything.

Yes.You are correct.
They really should have taken the time to say Thank you.
Not to excuse them but they probally did not even realize a
CM took the extra time to get more autographs and used her own money
to reture it to them.Just overjoyed to have it back. :Pinkbounc Pixie dust for your daughter. :wizard: It is great CM's like her
that make Disney so magical.
In 1999 we were at Disney with my son's HS Marching Band.
He lost his wallet with his drivers lincense, and cards for his fave arcade and vidio store. He didn't keep his money in the wallet thankfully. We called lost and found but they didn't find it. A few weeks later he received his drivers lincence only in the mail. :) It had been mailed from Florida so it must have been lost on property and someone was kind enough to return it. I can't remember if there was a return address or even if I looked for one. But I can tell you we were very happy to have it returned. :bounce:

I got teary eyed too!!!! Oh man! THAT is Disney magic and pixie dust at work! I hope you send a letter to Guest Relations to let them know what special CMs they have at their park!

I agree, definitely let them know about this magic!!

I'm so happy it worked out for your DD! :flower:

VickiVM We are the average family that works hard for the money to go to DW every few years. We know in our heads it's a business and we are more than happy to give Disney our vacation dollars because we get a safe said:
Very well said! As I sit here with tears in my eyes!

awesome story. So glad your trip was magical. :earsgirl: :grouphug:

I've added a photo to my original post on page one - This is THE family photo. My 8 year old is in the middle with me (my youngest on the far left, my son and husband hiding among the other members of the family!)

Thanks for all the kind words and the nice responses!! And yea! for me for learning how to use my digital camera. I'm going to attempt to add the photo of Peter and my daughter if I can get the dang thing to rotate and save!

OK - crossing my fingers...

I love WDW. Yes it's a business. But so are so many other places, where you just don't hear stories like this one. At Disney they really do try to go that extra mile (more like an extra thousand miles) to make your visit special.

WOW!! That is a once in a lifetime picture!
Like I said earlier, get all teary eyed  :goodvibes and the picture is just incredible--thanks for making all remember the reason we love Disney!

I read about your plight when you first posted and was touched by what happened and now that picture!! That is priceless! How often do you take a picture where everyone in the family looks great!! That would make an awesome Christmas card or a beautiful 10x13 mantle pic ;)

Thank you so much for sharing. I love stories like these. Got teary-eyed myself. :)
